For the Lord will deliver Jacob and redeem them from the hand of those stronger than they.

I will set the people of Jacob free. I will save them from those who are stronger than they are.

For the Lord has ransomed Jacob and has redeemed him from hands too strong for him.

For the Lord has redeemed Israel from those too strong for them.

for the LORD has ransomed Jacob and redeemed him from the power of one stronger than he.”

This is what the Lord Almighty says:“ The people of Israel are oppressed, and the people of Judah as well. All their captors hold them fast, refusing to let them go. (niv)

“ I will deliver this people from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death. Where, O death, are your plagues? Where, O grave, is your destruction?“ I will have no compassion, (niv)

Jesus replied,“ You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God. (niv)
