以色列之上帝耶和華曰、我所諭爾之言、咸筆於書、

我所告爾者、筆之於書。

主以色列之天主如是云、我所諭爾之言、筆之於書、

“ Thus speaks the Lord God of Israel, saying:‘ Write in a book for yourself all the words that I have spoken to you.

爾其往至民前、錄之於簡、筆之於書、以傳於後、永世靡暨、

耶利米復取一卷、畀尼利亞子繕寫巴錄、彼由耶利米口、以猶大王約雅敬所焚前卷之言、書於其上、又增多詞、其義相同、

爾取一卷、以我自約西亞時、迄於今日、責以色列猶大、及諸國、所諭爾之言、書於其上、庶猶大家得聞我所欲降之災、則各轉離惡途、致我赦其愆尤罪戾、耶利米遂召尼利亞子巴錄至、巴錄以耶利米口傳耶和華所諭之言、書之於卷、

但以理歟、爾其封此言、鈐此書、以待末期、將有多人往來、世人增其識見、○

耶和華諭摩西曰、我將塗亞瑪力之誌於天下、當筆之於簡、誦之於約書亞耳、

爾當書所見者、及今所有後必成之事、

耶和華謂我曰、書此啟示、昭著於版、俾人趨而能讀、蓋此啟示、有定期焉、其終極必速至、決不虛誑、雖則遲延、爾其待之、因其必臨、不濡滯也、

當日摩西作歌、教以色列人、耶和華諭嫩之子約書亞曰、強乃志、壯乃心、爾將導以色列人入我所誓賜之地、我必偕爾、○摩西以此律言、書之既畢、遂諭舁耶和華約匱之利未人曰、以此律書、置於爾上帝耶和華約匱之側、為證於爾、蓋我知爾悖逆強項、我今猶存、與爾同在、爾尚悖逆耶和華、況我歿後乎、

惟願我言見錄、我詞悉書於卷、以鐵筆鐫之於石、笵之以鉛、俾可永存、

爾所見者當筆之於書、寄於七會、即以弗所、士每拿、別迦摩、推雅推喇、撒狄、非拉鐵非、老底嘉、

蓋預言非由人意而來、乃感於聖神者、由上帝而言也、

又以論巴比倫必遘之災、筆之於書、耶利米語西萊亞曰、爾至巴比倫、務誦是言、且曰、耶和華歟、爾言必滅斯土、使無居民、人畜俱泯、永為荒蕪、誦書既竟、則繫書於石、投諸伯拉河中、曰、巴比倫因耶和華所降之災、必如是沈淪、不得復起、其力憊矣、耶利米之言、至是而止、

耶和華諭我曰、其取大簡、以人通用之文、書瑪黑珥沙勒哈施罷斯、

夫彼所遇者、可為鑑戒、載之於經、以警我末世之人、

昔所載者皆以訓我而書、俾我因忍與聖經之慰而得望、

故當作歌、教以色列人、使其口誦、以為之證、
