以色列族既背我、狥欲而行、我棄之、與以離書、其姊妹猶大族、屢欺侮予、毫無畏葸、狥欲而行、我鑒察之、彼狥欲特甚、崇拜木石、污衊斯邦、厥後佯為歸誠、心不誠慤。○

I gave faithless Israel her certificate of divorce and sent her away because of all her adulteries. Yet I saw that her unfaithful sister Judah had no fear; she also went out and committed adultery.

I gave Israel their letter of divorce. I sent them away because they were unfaithful to me so many times. But I saw that their sister nation Judah did not have any respect for me. They were not faithful to me either. They also went out and committed adultery with other gods.

She saw that for all the adulteries of that faithless one, Israel, I had sent her away with a decree of divorce. Yet her treacherous sister Judah did not fear, but she too went and played the whore.

She saw that I divorced faithless Israel because of her adultery. But that treacherous sister Judah had no fear, and now she, too, has left me and given herself to prostitution.

I observed that it was because unfaithful Israel had committed adultery that I had sent her away and had given her a certificate of divorce. Nevertheless, her treacherous sister Judah was not afraid but also went and prostituted herself.

And I saw that for all the adulteries of faithless Israel, I had sent her away and given her a certificate of divorce, yet her treacherous sister Judah did not fear; but she went and prostituted herself also.

Then I saw that for all the causes for which backsliding Israel had committed adultery, I had put her away and given her a certificate of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah did not fear, but went and played the harlot also.

And I saw, when, for this very cause that backsliding Israel had committed adultery, I had put her away and given her a bill of divorcement, yet treacherous Judah her sister feared not; but she also went and played the harlot.

I observed that it was because unfaithful Israel had committed adultery that I had sent her away and had given her a certificate of divorce. Nevertheless, her treacherous sister Judah was not afraid but also went and prostituted herself.

And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.

She also saw that I gave wayward Israel her divorce papers and sent her away because of her adulterous worship of other gods. Even after her unfaithful sister Judah had seen this, she still was not afraid, and she too went and gave herself like a prostitute to other gods.

I saw when, for this very cause, that backsliding Israel had committed adultery, I had put her away and given her a certificate of divorce, yet treacherous Judah, her sister, had no fear; but she also went and played the prostitute.

“如果有人娶妻后，发觉妻子行为不检，因而嫌弃她，他可以写休书给她，让她离开夫家。

耶和华说：“如果丈夫休掉妻子，妻子离去另嫁别人，前夫怎会再娶她呢？那样做岂不完全玷污了土地吗？你曾与许多情人苟合，现在要归向我吗？

耶和华说：“我休你们母亲的休书在哪里呢？我把你们卖给了我哪一个债主呢？你们被卖是因为你们的罪恶，你们母亲被休是因为你们的过犯。

何细亚执政第九年，撒玛利亚沦陷。亚述王把以色列人掳到亚述，安置在哈腊、歌散的哈博河一带以及玛代人的各城。以色列人之所以有如此下场，是因为他们的上帝耶和华领他们出埃及，从埃及王法老手中救出他们，他们却犯罪得罪祂。他们祭拜别的神明，效法耶和华在他们面前赶走的外族人的风俗和以色列诸王奉行的习俗。以色列人暗中做不义之事，冒犯他们的上帝耶和华。从瞭望塔到坚城，他们在各地建丘坛，在各高岗上、绿树下立神柱和亚舍拉神像，在各丘坛烧香，如同耶和华在他们面前赶走的外族人一样。他们邪恶的行为激怒了耶和华。尽管耶和华警告他们不可祭拜偶像，他们仍然执迷不悟。耶和华借着祂的众先知和先见警告以色列人和犹大人说：“你们要离开恶道，遵守我的诫命和律例，即我吩咐你们祖先遵守并借着我的仆人——众先知传给你们的律法。”但他们充耳不闻，像他们祖先一样顽固不化，不信靠他们的上帝耶和华，拒绝遵守祂的律例和祂与他们祖先所立的约，无视祂的警告。他们随从虚无的偶像，自己也变得虚无。他们违背耶和华的命令，去效法周围的外族人。他们把他们的上帝耶和华的诫命抛诸脑后，铸造了两个金牛犊，还造了亚舍拉神像。他们祭拜巴力和天上的万象，把自己的儿女烧死献作祭物。他们占卜，行邪术，出卖自己去做耶和华视为恶的事，惹祂发怒。因此，耶和华非常愤怒，从祂面前赶走以色列人，只留下犹大一个支派。但犹大人也不遵守他们的上帝耶和华的诫命，反而效法以色列人的恶行。

因此，我把她交在她所恋慕的亚述人手里。

“你们去跟你们的母亲理论吧！因为她不再是我的妻子，我也不再是她的丈夫。叫她别再出卖色相，别再露出乳间的淫态。不然，我要剥光她的衣服，使她像初生之时一样赤身露体；我要使她像沙漠，如旱地，干渴而死。

“虽然以色列如同妓女，对我不忠，但不要使犹大犯罪。不要到吉甲去，不要到伯·亚文去，不要凭永活的耶和华起誓。以色列桀骜不驯，如同桀骜不驯的母牛。耶和华怎能牧养他们，如同在草场上牧养羊羔呢？以法莲与偶像为伍，任由他吧！

如果她的后夫也嫌弃她，写休书给她，让她离开夫家，或者后夫死了，

“她妹妹阿荷利巴看见这一切，不但没有引以为戒，反而更加放荡淫乱。她贪恋亚述的省长和总督，那些衣着华丽、英俊的年轻骑士。我看见她玷污了自己，与姐姐的行径如出一辙。她还变本加厉地放荡淫乱，看见墙上用朱砂画着迦勒底人的像，腰间束带，头巾飘扬，都像是来自迦勒底的巴比伦人的将领，便恋上了他们，差遣使者到他们那里。巴比伦人便来上她的床，放纵情欲玷污了她。之后，她便厌弃他们。她继续公开地淫乱，在众人面前赤身露体，我厌弃她，像厌弃她姐姐一样。她却更加淫乱，怀念自己年轻时在埃及为娼的日子，怎样与那些体壮精足、如驴似马的情人纵淫，渴望重温早年的淫行，任埃及人摸胸弄乳。

耶和华说：“因他们在吉甲的一切恶行，我已憎恶他们。因他们的恶行，我要将他们逐出我的家，不再爱他们，他们的首领都是悖逆之人。以法莲要被击打，他们的根将枯干，再也不能结果。就算他们能生儿育女，我也要杀死他们心爱的孩子。”我的上帝必弃绝他们，因为他们不听从祂。他们必在列国中流离飘泊。

希西迦执政第四年，即以拉的儿子以色列王何细亚执政第七年，亚述王撒缦以色起兵攻打撒玛利亚城，将城包围。三年之后，就是希西迦执政第六年，以色列王何细亚执政第九年，撒玛利亚失陷。亚述王把以色列人掳到亚述，将他们安置在哈腊、歌散的哈博河一带以及玛代人的城邑里。

以色列人也要有许多日子没有君王和首领，没有祭祀和神柱，也没有以弗得和家庭神像。

你不仅追随她们可憎的行径，还很快超过了她们。
