For they have done outrageous things in Israel; they have committed adultery with their neighbors’ wives, and in my name they have uttered lies— which I did not authorize. I know it and am a witness to it,” declares the Lord.

萬軍之耶和華說：「我必臨近你們，施行審判。我必速速作見證，警戒行邪術的、犯姦淫的、起假誓的、虧負人之工價的、欺壓寡婦孤兒的、屈枉寄居的，和不敬畏我的。」

並且被造的沒有一樣在他面前不顯然的；原來萬物在那與我們有關係的主眼前，都是赤露敞開的。

萬軍之耶和華－以色列的神如此說：不要被你們中間的先知和占卜的誘惑，也不要聽信自己所做的夢；因為他們託我的名對你們說假預言，我並沒有差遣他們。這是耶和華說的。

因我的眼目察看他們的一切行為；他們不能在我面前遮掩，他們的罪孽也不能在我眼前隱藏。

萬軍之耶和華－以色列的神論到哥賴雅的兒子亞哈，並瑪西雅的兒子西底家，如此說：「他們是託我名向你們說假預言的，我必將他們交在巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒的手中；他要在你們眼前殺害他們。

因為，人所行的道都在耶和華眼前；他也修平人一切的路。

我沒有打發那些先知，他們竟自奔跑；我沒有對他們說話，他們竟自預言。

「你要寫信給老底嘉教會的使者，說：『那為阿們的，為誠信真實見證的，在神創造萬物之上為元首的，說：

耶和華說：「我豈為近處的神呢？不也為遠處的神嗎？」耶和華說：「人豈能在隱密處藏身，使我看不見他呢？」耶和華說：「我豈不充滿天地嗎？

並那誠實作見證的、從死裏首先復活、為世上君王元首的耶穌基督，有恩惠、平安歸與你們！他愛我們，用自己的血使我們脫離罪惡，

你們偷盜，殺害，姦淫，起假誓，向巴力燒香，並隨從素不認識的別神，且來到這稱為我名下的殿，在我面前敬拜；又說：『我們可以自由了。』你們這樣的舉動是要行那些可憎的事嗎？

但神對惡人說：你怎敢傳說我的律例，口中提到我的約呢？其實你恨惡管教，將我的言語丟在背後。你見了盜賊就樂意與他同夥，又與行姦淫的人一同有分。

那些隨肉身、縱污穢的情慾、輕慢主治之人的，更是如此。他們膽大任性，毀謗在尊位的，也不知懼怕。就是天使，雖然力量權能更大，還不用毀謗的話在主面前告他們。但這些人好像沒有靈性，生來就是畜類，以備捉拿宰殺的。他們毀謗所不曉得的事，正在敗壞人的時候，自己必遭遇敗壞。行的不義，就得了不義的工價。這些人喜愛白晝宴樂，他們已被玷污，又有瑕疵，正與你們一同坐席，就以自己的詭詐為快樂。他們滿眼是淫色，止不住犯罪，引誘那心不堅固的人，心中習慣了貪婪，正是被咒詛的種類。他們離棄正路，就走差了，隨從比珥之子巴蘭的路。巴蘭就是那貪愛不義之工價的先知，他卻為自己的過犯受了責備；那不能說話的驢以人言攔阻先知的狂妄。這些人是無水的井，是狂風催逼的霧氣，有墨黑的幽暗為他們存留。他們說虛妄矜誇的大話，用肉身的情慾和邪淫的事引誘那些剛才脫離妄行的人。他們應許人得以自由，自己卻作敗壞的奴僕，因為人被誰制伏就是誰的奴僕。

你們還說：「這是為甚麼呢？」因耶和華在你和你幼年所娶的妻中間作見證。她雖是你的配偶，又是你盟約的妻，你卻以詭詐待她。

你那些可憎惡之事－就是在田野的山上行姦淫，發嘶聲，做淫亂的事－我都看見了。耶路撒冷啊，你有禍了！你不肯潔淨，還要到幾時呢？

這些做夢的人也像他們污穢身體，輕慢主治的，毀謗在尊位的。天使長米迦勒為摩西的屍首與魔鬼爭辯的時候，尚且不敢用毀謗的話罪責他，只說：「主責備你吧！」。但這些人毀謗他們所不知道的。他們本性所知道的事與那沒有靈性的畜類一樣，在這事上竟敗壞了自己。他們有禍了！因為走了該隱的道路，又為利往巴蘭的錯謬裏直奔，並在可拉的背叛中滅亡了。

她的先知是虛浮詭詐的人；她的祭司褻瀆聖所，強解律法。
