如彼果為先知、奉耶和華之命、則當祈萬軍之耶和華、俾在耶和華室、猶大王宮、耶路撒冷、尚存之器、不被遷於巴比倫、

如彼誠先知、奉耶和華命、則可祈萬有之主耶和華、使其殿宇、及猶大王宮、耶路撒冷邑所遺之器皿、必不遷於巴比倫。

如彼誠為先知、誠奉主之命、則可祈萬有之主、使在主殿、猶大王宮、及耶路撒冷所遺之器皿、不遷於巴比倫、

If they are prophets and have the word of the Lord, let them plead with the Lord Almighty that the articles remaining in the house of the Lord and in the palace of the king of Judah and in Jerusalem not be taken to Babylon.

If they are prophets and have received a message from me, let them pray to me. I am the Lord who rules over all. Those prophets should pray that what is still in Jerusalem will remain here. They should pray that the objects in my house and the king’s palace will not be taken to Babylon.

If they are prophets, and if the word of the Lord is with them, then let them intercede with the Lord of hosts, that the vessels that are left in the house of the Lord, in the house of the king of Judah, and in Jerusalem may not go to Babylon.

If they really are prophets and speak the Lord’s messages, let them pray to the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. Let them pray that the articles remaining in the Lord’s Temple and in the king’s palace and in the palaces of Jerusalem will not be carried away to Babylon!’

If they are indeed prophets and if the word of the LORD is with them, let them intercede with the LORD of Armies not to let the articles that remain in the LORD’s temple, in the palace of the king of Judah, and in Jerusalem go to Babylon.’

But if they are prophets, and if the word of the Lord is with them, have them now plead with the Lord of armies that the vessels which are left in the house of the Lord and the house of the king of Judah and in Jerusalem do not go to Babylon.

But if they are prophets, and if the word of the Lord is with them, let them now make intercession to the Lord of hosts, that the vessels which are left in the house of the Lord, in the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem, do not go to Babylon.’

But if they be prophets, and if the word of Jehovah be with them, let them now make intercession to Jehovah of hosts, that the vessels which are left in the house of Jehovah, and in the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem, go not to Babylon.

If they are indeed prophets and if the word of the Lord is with them, let them intercede with the Lord of Hosts not to let the articles that remain in the Lord’s temple, in the palace of the king of Judah, and in Jerusalem go to Babylon.’

I also told them,“ If they are really prophets and the LORD is speaking to them, let them pray earnestly to the LORD who rules over all. Let them plead with him not to let the valuable articles that are still left in the LORD’s temple, in the royal palace, and in Jerusalem be taken away to Babylon.

But if they are prophets, and if Yahweh’s word is with them, let them now make intercession to Yahweh of Armies, that the vessels which are left in Yahweh’s house, in the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem, don’t go to Babylon.

以色列人對撒母耳說：「願你不住為我們呼求耶和華－我們的上帝，救我們脫離非利士人的手。」

眾百姓對撒母耳說：「請你為僕人向耶和華－你的上帝禱告，免得我們死亡，因為我們求立王的事，正是罪上加罪了。」

至於我，我如果停止為你們禱告，就得罪耶和華了，我絕不會這樣做。我必以善道正路指教你們。

人豈可以惡報善呢？他們竟挖坑要害我的性命！求你記念我站在你面前為他們說好話，要使你的憤怒轉離他們。

你們求告你們神明的名，我也求告耶和華的名。那應允禱告降火的就是上帝。」眾百姓回答說：「好主意。」

所以，你們要彼此認罪，互相代求，使你們得醫治。義人祈禱所發的力量是大有功效的。以利亞與我們是同樣性情的人，他懇切地祈求不要下雨，地上就三年六個月沒有下雨。他又禱告，天就降下雨來，地就有了出產。

希西家王和亞摩斯的兒子以賽亞先知為此禱告，向天呼求。

「所以，你不要為這百姓祈禱；不要為他們呼求禱告，也不要為他們向我祈求，因我不聽你。

現在你們要為自己取七頭公牛、七隻公羊，到我的僕人約伯那裏去，為自己獻上燔祭，我的僕人約伯就為你們祈禱。我必悅納他，不按你們的愚妄處置你們。你們議論我，不如我的僕人約伯說的正確。」於是提幔人以利法、書亞人比勒達、拿瑪人瑣法遵照耶和華所吩咐的去做，耶和華就悅納約伯。

耶和華對我說：「雖有摩西和撒母耳站在我面前，我的心也不顧惜這百姓。你把他們從我眼前趕出，叫他們出去吧！

我在他們中間尋找一人重修城牆，在我面前為這地站在缺口上，使我不致滅絕它，卻連一個也找不着。

雖有這三人在其中，主耶和華說：我指着我的永生起誓，他們不能救兒子女兒，只有他們自己可以得救。或者我叫瘟疫流行那地，把我的憤怒帶着血傾在其中，好使人與牲畜從其中剪除；雖有挪亞、但以理、約伯在那裏，主耶和華說：我指着我的永生起誓，他們不能救兒子女兒，只能因自己的義救自己的命。

對耶利米先知說：「請你准我們在你面前祈求，為我們這倖存的人向耶和華－你的上帝禱告。我們本來眾多，現在剩下的極少，這是你親眼看見的。

現在我勸你們要懇求上帝，好讓他施恩給我們。這事既出於你們的手，他豈會抬舉你們任何人呢？這是萬軍之耶和華說的。

亞伯拉罕向上帝禱告，上帝就醫好亞比米勒和他的妻子，以及他的使女們，他們就能生育。

雖有挪亞、但以理、約伯這三人在那裏，他們只能因自己的義救自己的命。這是主耶和華說的。

他們把所給他們的牛犢預備好了，從早晨到中午，求告巴力的名說：「巴力啊，求你應允我們！」卻沒有聲音，也沒有回應。他們就在所築的壇四圍蹦跳。

假若那城裏有五十個義人，你真的還要剿滅，不因城裏這五十個義人饒了那地方嗎？你絕不會做這樣的事，把義人與惡人一同殺了，使義人與惡人一樣。你絕不會這樣！審判全地的主豈不做公平的事嗎？」耶和華說：「我若在所多瑪城裏找到五十個義人，我就為他們的緣故饒恕那整個地方。」亞伯拉罕回答說：「看哪，我雖只是塵土灰燼，還敢向主說話。假若這五十個義人少了五個，你就因為少了五個而毀滅全城嗎？」他說：「我在那裏若找到四十五個，就不毀滅。」亞伯拉罕又對他說：「假若在那裏找到四十個呢？」他說：「為這四十個的緣故，我也不做。」亞伯拉罕說：「求主不要生氣，容我說，假若在那裏找到三十個呢？」他說：「我在那裏若找到三十個，我也不做。」亞伯拉罕說：「看哪，我還敢向主說，假若在那裏找到二十個呢？」他說：「為這二十個的緣故，我也不毀滅。」亞伯拉罕說：「求主不要生氣，我再說一次，假若在那裏找到十個呢？」他說：「為這十個的緣故，我也不毀滅。」耶和華與亞伯拉罕說完了話就走了；亞伯拉罕也回到自己的地方去了。
