眾牧伯與民眾、告諸祭司與諸先知曰、斯人不當擬死罪、因奉主我天主之命而言於我儕、

Then the officials and all the people said to the priests and the prophets,“ This man should not be sentenced to death! He has spoken to us in the name of the Lord our God.”

Then the officials and all the people spoke to the priests and prophets. They said,“ This man shouldn’t be sentenced to death! He has spoken to us in the name of the Lord our God.”

Then the officials and all the people said to the priests and the prophets,“ This man does not deserve the sentence of death, for he has spoken to us in the name of the Lord our God.”

Then the officials and the people said to the priests and prophets,“ This man does not deserve the death sentence, for he has spoken to us in the name of the Lord our God.”

Then the officials and all the people told the priests and prophets,“ This man doesn’t deserve the death sentence, for he has spoken to us in the name of the LORD our God!”

Then the officials and all the people said to the priests and the prophets,“ No death sentence for this man! For he has spoken to us in the name of the Lord our God.”

So the princes and all the people said to the priests and the prophets,“ This man does not deserve to die. For he has spoken to us in the name of the Lord our God.”

Then said the princes and all the people unto the priests and to the prophets: This man is not worthy of death; for he hath spoken to us in the name of Jehovah our God.

Then the officials and all the people told the priests and prophets,“ This man doesn’t deserve the death sentence, for he has spoken to us in the name of Yahweh our God!”

Then said the princes and all the people unto the priests and to the prophets; This man[ is] not worthy to die: for he hath spoken to us in the name of the LORD our God.

Then the officials and all the people rendered their verdict to the priests and the prophets. They said,“ This man should not be condemned to die. For he has spoken to us under the authority of the LORD our God.”

Then the princes and all the people said to the priests and to the prophets:“ This man is not worthy of death; for he has spoken to us in the name of Yahweh our God.”

但議院中有一個人站起來，是個法利賽人、名叫迦瑪列，是眾民所敬重的教法師。他吩咐把使徒暫時帶到外邊，就對眾人說：『以色列人哪，對這些人、你們應當小心要怎樣辦理。從前丟大起來，自稱為有數的人物，小數的人、約有四百、傾向着他。他被殺掉，所有附從他的人都四散，歸於無有。這人以後、當戶口登記的日子、加利利人猶大起來，引誘了人民跟着他；那個人也滅亡，所有附從他的人都被趕散了。就是如今、我也告訴你們，避開這些人，任憑他們吧。因為這個計謀、這個作為、若是出於人，自會覆滅；若是出於上帝，你們就不能覆滅他們，恐怕倒要見為攻擊上帝了！』

於是起了大喧嚷，有幾個法利賽黨的經學士站起來力爭說：『我們看不出這個人有甚麼惡呀；萬一有鬼靈或天使對他說過話、可怎麼辦呢？』

便查知了他被控告、是為了他們自己的律法問題，並沒有該死或該捆鎖的案情。

並且以利拿單、第萊雅和基瑪利雅懇求王不要燒這書卷，王也不聽他們。

首領們對巴錄說：『去哦，你和耶利米都要去藏起來；不要叫人知道你們在哪裏。』

我呢、卻理會他沒有作過該死的事；並且這個人自己既已上訴了皇帝，我便決定給解送了。

這時你若硬不作聲，那麼給予猶大人的濟助和援救總會從別處應時而起的，那麼你和你父的家就會滅亡了。你怎麼知道你之得了王后位分、不是為了此次這機會而得的呢？』

彼拉多說：『他作了甚麼惡事呢？』他們卻極力喊着說：『給釘十字架！』彼拉多見無濟於事，反會生亂，就拿水當羣眾面前洗手說：『這人流血而死，我全無辜；你們自理吧。』

他們便退到一邊，彼此談論說：『這個人並沒有作甚麼該死或該捆鎖的事啊。』亞基帕對非斯都說：『這個人假使沒有向該撒上訴，就可以得釋放。』

百夫長和同他看守耶穌的人見地震和所經過的事，就起了極大敬畏的心，說：『真是上帝的兒子啊這個人！』

古實人以伯米勒、是個做太監的人、他在王宮、聽見人將耶利米下在井裏——那時王在便雅憫門口坐着——以伯米勒就從王宮出來，告訴王說：『我主我王啊，這些人待神言人耶利米的盡是行壞事：將他扔在井裏，他是會當場餓死的；因為城裏再也沒有糧食了。』王就吩咐古實人以伯米勒說：『你就此隨手帶着三個人、將神言人耶利米、趁他未死以前、從井裏拉上來。』於是以伯米勒隨手帶了人，進入王宮，到庫房以下，從那裏取了些破布爛衣，用繩子縋下井裏到耶利米那裏。古實人以伯米勒對耶利米說：『你把這些破布爛衣放在繩子上去墊胳肢窩。』耶利米就這樣作。他們便這樣用繩子拉耶利米，從井裏給拖上來。耶利米仍在護衛監的院子裏呆着。

對他們說：『你們把這個人解到我這裏來，說他是叫人民轉離正軌的。你看，我已經在你們面前審問了，查不出這人有你們所控告他的罪狀。就是希律也查不出；因為他把他送回我們這裏來了。你看，甚麼該死的事、他都沒有作過呀。

祭司和神言人對首領和眾民說：『這人真是該死，因為他傳神言攻擊這城，正如你們親耳聽見的。』

人所行的若蒙永恆主所喜悅，永恆主也使他的仇敵跟他和好。

我們呢、是按公義受刑罰的，因為我們所受的、正與我們所行的相稱；但這個人呢、並沒有行過橫逆不道的事呀。』

百夫長看見所經過的事，就將榮耀歸與上帝說：『實在地、這個人是個義人哪！』
