我既从称为我名下的城起首施行灾祸，你们能尽免刑罚吗？你们必不能免，因为我要命刀剑临到地上一切的居民。这是万军之耶和华说的。’

看哪，我既从称为我名下的城起首施行灾祸，你们能免去惩罚吗？你们必不能免，因为我要命刀剑临到地上所有的居民。这是万军之耶和华说的。’

看哪，我既从称为我名下的城起首施行灾祸，你们能免去惩罚吗？你们必不能免，因为我要命刀剑临到地上所有的居民。这是万军之耶和华说的。’

看啊，我已在属我的城中降下灾祸，难道你们可以逃脱惩罚吗？你们必逃不过惩罚，因为我要使战争临到天下万民。’这是万军之耶和华说的。

因为，看哪！我既然在那称为我名下的城中先降灾祸，你们真可免受惩罚吗？你们必不能免受惩罚，因为我要呼唤刀剑来攻击这地所有的居民。’”这是万军之耶和华的宣告。

我既從稱為我名下的城起首施行災禍，你們能盡免刑罰嗎？你們必不能免，因為我要命刀劍臨到地上一切的居民。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。』

看哪，我既從稱為我名下的城起首施行災禍，你們能免去懲罰嗎？你們必不能免，因為我要命刀劍臨到地上所有的居民。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。』

看哪，我既從稱為我名下的城起首施行災禍，你們能免去懲罰嗎？你們必不能免，因為我要命刀劍臨到地上所有的居民。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。』

看啊，我已在屬我的城中降下災禍，難道你們可以逃脫懲罰嗎？你們必逃不過懲罰，因為我要使戰爭臨到天下萬民。』這是萬軍之耶和華說的。

因為，看哪！我既然在那稱為我名下的城中先降災禍，你們真可免受懲罰嗎？你們必不能免受懲罰，因為我要呼喚刀劍來攻擊這地所有的居民。’”這是萬軍之耶和華的宣告。

因為你看，在那稱為我名下的城我既開始降了災禍，你們能全然免受刑罰麼？你們必不能免受刑罰，因為我要呼喚刀劍來責罰這地所有的居民：這是萬軍之永恆主發神諭說的。」

蓋我降災、始於我寄名之邑、爾豈能盡免刑罰乎、必不免也、我必使鋒刃臨於地上居民、萬軍之耶和華言之矣、

我既降災於斯邑、及籲我名之所、爾豈能免於患難、今以鋒刃、遍擊天下億兆、爾豈能逭厥刑罰。

歸我名之邑、我且降災、或作斯邑為籲我名之所我且降災爾曹豈能免於災乎、決不得免、我必使天下萬民、俱遭鋒刃之災、此乃萬有之主所言、

See, I am beginning to bring disaster on the city that bears my Name, and will you indeed go unpunished? You will not go unpunished, for I am calling down a sword on all who live on the earth, declares the Lord Almighty.’

I am beginning to bring trouble on the city where I have put my Name. You might think you will not be punished. But you will certainly be punished. I am sending war against everyone who lives on earth,” announces the Lord who rules over all.’

For behold, I begin to work disaster at the city that is called by my name, and shall you go unpunished? You shall not go unpunished, for I am summoning a sword against all the inhabitants of the earth, declares the Lord of hosts.’

I have begun to punish Jerusalem, the city that bears my name. Now should I let you go unpunished? No, you will not escape disaster. I will call for war against all the nations of the earth. I, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, have spoken!’

For I am already bringing disaster on the city that bears my name, so how could you possibly go unpunished? You will not go unpunished, for I am summoning a sword against all the inhabitants of the earth. This is the declaration of the LORD of Armies.’

For behold, I am beginning to inflict disaster on this city which is called by My name, so should you be completely free from punishment? You will not be free from punishment, for I am summoning a sword against all the inhabitants of the earth,” declares the Lord of armies.’

For behold, I begin to bring calamity on the city which is called by My name, and should you be utterly unpunished? You shall not be unpunished, for I will call for a sword on all the inhabitants of the earth,” says the Lord of hosts.’

For, lo, I begin to work evil at the city which is called by my name; and should ye be utterly unpunished? Ye shall not be unpunished; for I will call for a sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, saith Jehovah of hosts.

For I am already bringing disaster on the city that bears My name, so how could you possibly go unpunished? You will not go unpunished, for I am summoning a sword against all the inhabitants of the earth”— this is the declaration of the Lord of Hosts.

For, lo, I begin to bring evil on the city which is called by my name, and should ye be utterly unpunished? Ye shall not be unpunished: for I will call for a sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, saith the LORD of hosts.

For take note, I am already beginning to bring disaster on the city that I call my own. So how can you possibly avoid being punished? You will not go unpunished! For I am proclaiming war against all who live on the earth. I, the LORD who rules over all, affirm it!’

For, behold, I begin to work evil at the city which is called by my name; and should you be utterly unpunished? You will not be unpunished; for I will call for a sword on all the inhabitants of the earth, says Yahweh of Armies.”’

If the righteous receive their due on earth, how much more the ungodly and the sinner! (niv)

For it is time for judgment to begin with God’s household; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God? (niv)

I will summon a sword against Gog on all my mountains, declares the Sovereign Lord. Every man’s sword will be against his brother. (niv)

then hear from heaven, your dwelling place. Do whatever the foreigner asks of you, so that all the peoples of the earth may know your name and fear you, as do your own people Israel, and may know that this house I have built bears your Name. (niv)

This is what the Lord says:“ If those who do not deserve to drink the cup must drink it, why should you go unpunished? You will not go unpunished, but must drink it. (niv)

Just as you drank on my holy hill, so all the nations will drink continually; they will drink and drink and be as if they had never been. (niv)

Slaughter the old men, the young men and women, the mothers and children, but do not touch anyone who has the mark. Begin at my sanctuary.” So they began with the old men who were in front of the temple. (niv)

“ Awake, sword, against my shepherd, against the man who is close to me!” declares the Lord Almighty.“ Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered, and I will turn my hand against the little ones. (niv)

Be sure of this: The wicked will not go unpunished, but those who are righteous will go free. (niv)

“ For this is what the Sovereign Lord says: How much worse will it be when I send against Jerusalem my four dreadful judgments— sword and famine and wild beasts and plague— to kill its men and their animals! (niv)

I am with you and will save you,’ declares the Lord.‘ Though I completely destroy all the nations among which I scatter you, I will not completely destroy you. I will discipline you but only in due measure; I will not let you go entirely unpunished.’ (niv)

For if people do these things when the tree is green, what will happen when it is dry?” (niv)

then tell them,‘ This is what the Lord says: I am going to fill with drunkenness all who live in this land, including the kings who sit on David’s throne, the priests, the prophets and all those living in Jerusalem. (niv)

“ Or if I bring a sword against that country and say,‘ Let the sword pass throughout the land,’ and I kill its people and their animals, (niv)

Give ear, our God, and hear; open your eyes and see the desolation of the city that bears your Name. We do not make requests of you because we are righteous, but because of your great mercy.Lord, listen! Lord, forgive! Lord, hear and act! For your sake, my God, do not delay, because your city and your people bear your Name.” (niv)

Do not be afraid, Jacob my servant, for I am with you,” declares the Lord.“ Though I completely destroy all the nations among which I scatter you, I will not completely destroy you. I will discipline you but only in due measure; I will not let you go entirely unpunished.” (niv)

When the Lord has finished all his work against Mount Zion and Jerusalem, he will say,“ I will punish the king of Assyria for the willful pride of his heart and the haughty look in his eyes. (niv)

Whoever mocks the poor shows contempt for their Maker; whoever gloats over disaster will not go unpunished. (niv)
