And it shall be, if they refuse to take the cup at thine hand to drink, then shalt thou say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Ye shall certainly drink.

如彼不受爵、不肯飲、爾當曰、萬有之主耶和華曰、爾必飲之。

如彼不願接爵於爾手以飲、則爾告之曰、萬有之主如是云、爾必飲之、

But if they refuse to take the cup from your hand and drink, tell them,‘ This is what the Lord Almighty says: You must drink it!

But they might refuse to take the cup from your hand. They might not want to drink from it. Then tell them,‘ The Lord who rules over all says,“ You must drink from it!

“ And if they refuse to accept the cup from your hand to drink, then you shall say to them,‘ Thus says the Lord of hosts: You must drink!

And if they refuse to accept the cup, tell them,‘ The Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: You have no choice but to drink from it.

If they refuse to accept the cup from your hand and drink, you are to say to them,‘ This is what the LORD of Armies says: You must drink!

And if they refuse to take the cup from your hand to drink, then you shall say to them,‘ This is what the Lord of armies says:“ You shall certainly drink!

And it shall be, if they refuse to take the cup from your hand to drink, then you shall say to them,‘ Thus says the Lord of hosts:“ You shall certainly drink!

And it shall be, if they refuse to take the cup at thy hand to drink, then shalt thou say unto them, Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Ye shall surely drink.

If they refuse to take the cup from you and drink, you are to say to them: This is what the Lord of Hosts says: You must drink!

If they refuse to take the cup from your hand and drink it, tell them that the LORD who rules over all says‘ You most certainly must drink it!

It shall be, if they refuse to take the cup at your hand to drink, then you shall tell them,‘ Yahweh of Armies says:“ You shall surely drink.

[ Should it be] according to thy mind? he will recompense it, whether thou refuse, or whether thou choose; and not I: therefore speak what thou knowest.

In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done.

For thus saith the LORD; Behold, they whose judgment[ was] not to drink of the cup have assuredly drunken; and[ art] thou he[ that] shall altogether go unpunished? thou shalt not go unpunished, but thou shalt surely drink[ of it].

For this shall the earth mourn, and the heavens above be black: because I have spoken[ it], I have purposed[ it], and will not repent, neither will I turn back from it.

Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times[ the things] that are not[ yet] done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken[ it], I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed[ it], I will also do it.

The LORD of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed,[ so] shall it stand:That I will break the Assyrian in my land, and upon my mountains tread him under foot: then shall his yoke depart from off them, and his burden depart from off their shoulders.This[ is] the purpose that is purposed upon the whole earth: and this[ is] the hand that is stretched out upon all the nations.For the LORD of hosts hath purposed, and who shall disannul[ it]? and his hand[ is] stretched out, and who shall turn it back?

And the land shall tremble and sorrow: for every purpose of the LORD shall be performed against Babylon, to make the land of Babylon a desolation without an inhabitant.

And all the inhabitants of the earth[ are] reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and[ among] the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?
