Am I a God at hand, saith Jehovah, and not a God afar off?

耶和华说：“我岂为近处的神呢？不也为远处的神吗？”

我是靠近你们的上帝，不是遥远的上帝，不是吗？这是耶和华说的。

我是靠近你们的神，不是遥远的神，不是吗？这是耶和华说的。

耶和华说：“我是无处不在的上帝。”

难道我只是近处的神吗？不也是远处的神吗？”这是耶和华的宣告。

耶和華說：「我豈為近處的神呢？不也為遠處的神嗎？」

我是靠近你們的上帝，不是遙遠的上帝，不是嗎？這是耶和華說的。

我是靠近你們的神，不是遙遠的神，不是嗎？這是耶和華說的。

耶和華說：「我是無處不在的上帝。」

難道我只是近處的神嗎？不也是遠處的神嗎？”這是耶和華的宣告。

永恆主發神諭說：『我，難道我只是近處的上帝？不也是遠處的上帝麼？

耶和華曰、我為上帝、豈知近而不知遠乎、

耶和華又曰、我為上帝、無間遐邇。

主曰、我為天主、豈獨鑒察近事乎、不亦鑒察遠事乎、

“ Am I only a God nearby,” declares the Lord,“ and not a God far away?

“ Am I only a God who is nearby?” announces the Lord.“ Am I not a God who is also far away?

“ Am I a God at hand, declares the Lord, and not a God far away?

Am I a God who is only close at hand?” says the Lord.“ No, I am far away at the same time.

“ Am I a God who is only near”— this is the LORD’s declaration—“ and not a God who is far away?

“ Am I a God who is near,” declares the Lord,“ And not a God far off?

“ Am I a God near at hand,” says the Lord,“ And not a God afar off?

“ Am I a God who is only near”— this is the Lord’s declaration—“ and not a God who is far away?

[ Am] I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off?

Do you people think that I am some local deity and not the transcendent God?” the LORD asks.

“ Am I a God at hand,” says Yahweh,“ and not a God afar off?

O Jehovah, thou hast searched me, and known me.Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising; Thou understandest my thought afar off.Thou searchest out my path and my lying down, And art acquainted with all my ways.For there is not a word in my tongue, But, lo, O Jehovah, thou knowest it altogether.Thou hast beset me behind and before, And laid thy hand upon me.Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; It is high, I cannot attain unto it.Whither shall I go from thy Spirit? Or whither shall I flee from thy presence?If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, thou art there.If I take the wings of the morning, And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;Even there shall thy hand lead me, And thy right hand shall hold me.

And the servants of the king of Syria said unto him, Their god is a god of the hills; therefore they were stronger than we: but let us fight against them in the plain, and surely we shall be stronger than they.

But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of Jehovah; and he went down to Joppa, and found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of Jehovah.But Jehovah sent out a great wind upon the sea, and there was a mighty tempest on the sea, so that the ship was like to be broken.

and that which cometh into your mind shall not be at all, in that ye say, We will be as the nations, as the families of the countries, to serve wood and stone.As I live, saith the Lord Jehovah, surely with a mighty hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with wrath poured out, will I be king over you:and I will bring you out from the peoples, and will gather you out of the countries wherein ye are scattered, with a mighty hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with wrath poured out;and I will bring you into the wilderness of the peoples, and there will I enter into judgment with you face to face.

Who is like unto Jehovah our God, That hath his seat on high,

And a man of God came near and spake unto the king of Israel, and said, Thus saith Jehovah, Because the Syrians have said, Jehovah is a god of the hills, but he is not a god of the valleys; therefore will I deliver all this great multitude into thy hand, and ye shall know that I am Jehovah.
