他的臣僕用車把他的屍體從米吉多運回耶路撒冷，安葬在他的墓穴裡。民眾膏立他兒子約哈斯做王。約哈斯二十三歲登基，在耶路撒冷執政三個月。他母親叫哈慕她，是立拿人耶利米的女兒。約哈斯像他祖先一樣做耶和華視為惡的事。埃及王尼哥把約哈斯囚禁在哈馬的利比拉，不准他在耶路撒冷做王，又罰猶大國三點四噸銀子和三十四公斤金子。埃及王尼哥立約西亞的另一個兒子以利亞敬為王，給他改名為約雅敬。約哈斯被尼哥帶到埃及，並死在那裡。

因此，論到猶大王約西亞的兒子約雅敬，耶和華說：「沒有人會為他哀悼說，『唉，我的弟兄啊！唉，我的姊妹啊！』沒有人會為他哀悼說，『唉，主人啊！唉，他的尊榮！』

約西亞王在戰場上中箭受傷，就對僕人說：「我受了重傷，帶我離開吧。」他的僕人就扶他下戰車，上另一輛戰車，送到耶路撒冷。約西亞死在那裡，葬在他祖先的墳墓裡。所有猶大和耶路撒冷的人都為他哀悼。耶利米為約西亞作了哀歌，所有的男女歌樂手至今仍用這些哀歌紀念約西亞，成了以色列的傳統。這些哀歌都記在《哀歌書》上。

我會讓你平安入土到你祖先那裡。你不會看到我要降給這地方的一切災難。』」他們便回去稟告王。

她養大一隻幼獅，使牠成為雄壯的獅子。牠學會了捕食吃人。列國的人知道後，便設陷阱捉住牠，用鉤子拉到埃及。

耶穌轉過身來，對她們說：「耶路撒冷的女兒啊，不要為我哭，為你們自己和你們的兒女哭吧！
