The next day, when Pashhur released him from the stocks, Jeremiah said to him,“ The Lord’s name for you is not Pashhur, but Terror on Every Side.

The next day, when Pashhur released Jeremiah from the stocks, Jeremiah said to him,“ The Lord does not call your name Pashhur, but Terror On Every Side.

The next day, when Pashhur finally released him, Jeremiah said,“ Pashhur, the Lord has changed your name. From now on you are to be called‘ The Man Who Lives in Terror.’

The next day, when Pashhur released Jeremiah from the stocks, Jeremiah said to him,“ The LORD does not call you Pashhur, but Terror Is on Every Side,

Then on the next day, when Pashhur released Jeremiah from the stocks, Jeremiah said to him,“ Pashhur is not the name the Lord has called you, but rather Magor missabib.

And it happened on the next day that Pashhur brought Jeremiah out of the stocks. Then Jeremiah said to him,“ The Lord has not called your name Pashhur, but Magor-Missabib.

And it came to pass on the morrow, that Pashhur brought forth Jeremiah out of the stocks. Then said Jeremiah unto him, Jehovah hath not called thy name Pashhur, but Magor- missabib.

The next day, when Pashhur released Jeremiah from the stocks, Jeremiah said to him,“ The Lord does not call you Pashhur, but Magor-missabib,

And it came to pass on the morrow, that Pashur brought forth Jeremiah out of the stocks. Then said Jeremiah unto him, The LORD hath not called thy name Pashur, but Magormissabib.

But the next day Pashhur released Jeremiah from the stocks. When he did, Jeremiah said to him,“ The LORD’s name for you is not‘ Pashhur’ but‘ Terror is Everywhere.’

On the next day, Pashhur released Jeremiah out of the stocks. Then Jeremiah said to him,“ Yahweh has not called your name Pashhur, but Magormissabib.

我聞眾人之讒謗、我隨在驚惶、彼此相語必控我、素與我相交在我側者、亦云我儕盍誘之、或可勝之、以復我仇於其身、

勿往於田、勿行於途、四周皆有仇敵之鋒刃、可驚可懼、

主曰、我觀其喪膽退後、勇士潰敗、急於奔逃、並不回顧、四望驚惶、何故也、

我與妻同室、懷孕生子、主諭我曰、稱其名瑪黑珥沙拉勒哈斯罷斯、譯即擄事速臨掠事急至之義

主使可懼之事、四周雲集、如眾集會於節期之日、主震怒之日、無能逃遁、無人存留、我所懷抱所撫育者、我敵滅之殆盡、

我聞多人之謗言、在我四圍有驚惶之事、彼眾聚集以攻我、謀害我命、

祭司西番亞遂讀此書於先知耶利米前、

往便欣嫩谷、於哈珥西哈珥西或作瓦器門外、或作往便欣嫩谷於東門之側在彼宣我將示爾之言、

緣此主云、時日將至、斯處不復稱為陀斐特便欣嫩谷、必稱為殺戮谷、

明日、有司、長老、經士、大祭司安那、與該亞法、約翰、亞力山德、及大祭司之族、咸集於耶路撒冷、

導之出、曰、先生、原文作吾主我當何為、乃可得救、

緣此主曰、時日將至、斯處不復稱為陀斐特便欣嫩谷、必稱為殺戮谷、死者無地可埋、必埋於陀斐特、

主諭之曰、可稱其名曰耶斯烈、昔耶戶殺人流血於耶斯烈、我不久將罰其家、必滅以色列族之國、當是日我將在耶斯烈谷、谷或作平原折以色列之弓、婦再懷孕生女、主諭何西阿曰、可稱其名曰羅路哈瑪、羅路哈瑪譯即不蒙矜憫之義蓋我不復矜憫以色列族、不復赦免之、不復赦免之或作必除之殆盡我將矜憫猶大族、使之賴主其天主得救、非賴弓刃、戰爭、馬與騎卒得救、原文作我將矜憫猶大族救之以主其天主不救之以弓刃戰爭馬與騎卒婦為羅路哈瑪斷乳、再懷孕生子、主曰、可稱其名曰羅阿米、羅阿米譯即非我民之義蓋爾曹非我民、我不復為爾之天主、○

曰、今而後裔不復名雅各、乃名以色列、蓋爾與神與人較量、無不得勝、

天主又諭亞伯拉罕曰、爾妻不復稱撒萊、乃稱為撒拉、

既旦、上官遣吏役曰、可釋此二人、獄吏以此言告保羅曰、上官遣人釋爾、今可出獄、安然而去、保羅曰、我儕亦羅瑪人、未定罪、當眾前杖我、且下獄、今欲私出我乎、必不可、俟其自來引我出、吏役以此言告上官、上官聞其為羅瑪人、則懼、遂來求恕、引之出、請離其邑、

今而後爾名不復稱亞伯蘭、乃稱亞伯拉罕、亞伯拉罕譯即多族之祖之義因我使爾為多族之祖故也、
