他们也不问：‘那领我们从埃及地上来，引导我们走过旷野，走过荒漠有深坑之地、干旱死荫之地、无人经过、无人居住之地的耶和华在哪里呢？’

他們也不追問說：「那領我們從埃及地上來，引導我們經過曠野，經過原野有深坑之地，乾旱漆黑之地，無人經過、無人居住之地的永恆主在哪裏呢？」

彼眾未言導我出埃及之耶和華安在、彼引我歷曠野、沙漠坎阱之區、旱乾死亡之地、無人經行、無人居處之境、

我導斯民、出於埃及、過曠野深坑之地、汲道已絕、陰翳之所、廬舍全無、人蹤罕至、我令此族、入於良田、食其土產、得其嘉物、自是之後、彼乃使我田疇聖業、咸染污衊、深可痛疾、庶民祭司、俱不求予、傳法之師、不識余道、民牧背予、先知託巴力之名而言、所作無益。

彼不求我、不念我曾引之出伊及、導之過曠野沙漠坎阱之地、旱乾幽暗幽暗原文作死陰之地、無人經歷無人居處之地、

They did not ask,‘ Where is the Lord, who brought us up out of Egypt and led us through the barren wilderness, through a land of deserts and ravines, a land of drought and utter darkness, a land where no one travels and no one lives?’

They did not ask,‘ Where is the Lord? He brought us up out of Egypt. He led us through a dry and empty land. He guided us through deserts and deep valleys. It was a land of total darkness where there wasn’t any rain. No one lived or traveled there.’

They did not say,‘ Where is the Lord who brought us up from the land of Egypt, who led us in the wilderness, in a land of deserts and pits, in a land of drought and deep darkness, in a land that none passes through, where no man dwells?’

They did not ask,‘ Where is the Lord who brought us safely out of Egypt and led us through the barren wilderness— a land of deserts and pits, a land of drought and death, where no one lives or even travels?’

They stopped asking,“ Where is the LORD who brought us from the land of Egypt, who led us through the wilderness, through a land of deserts and ravines, through a land of drought and darkness, a land no one traveled through and where no one lived?”

They did not say,‘ Where is the Lord Who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, Who led us through the wilderness, Through a land of deserts and of pits, Through a land of drought and of deep darkness, Through a land that no one crossed And where no person lived?’

Neither did they say,‘ Where is the Lord, Who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, Who led us through the wilderness, Through a land of deserts and pits, Through a land of drought and the shadow of death, Through a land that no one crossed And where no one dwelt?’

Neither said they, Where is Jehovah that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, that led us through the wilderness, through a land of deserts and of pits, through a land of drought and of the shadow of death, through a land that none passed through, and where no man dwelt?

They stopped asking,“ Where is the Lord who brought us from the land of Egypt, who led us through the wilderness, through a land of deserts and ravines, through a land of drought and darkness, a land no one traveled through and where no one lived?”

Neither said they, Where[ is] the LORD that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, that led us through the wilderness, through a land of deserts and of pits, through a land of drought, and of the shadow of death, through a land that no man passed through, and where no man dwelt?

They did not ask:‘ Where is the LORD who delivered us out of Egypt, who brought us through the wilderness, through a land of desert sands and rift valleys, through a land of drought and deep darkness, through a land in which no one travels, and where no one lives?’

They didn’t say,‘ Where is Yahweh who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, who led us through the wilderness, through a land of deserts and of pits, through a land of drought and of the shadow of death, through a land that no one passed through, and where no man lived?’

“耶和华在旷野之地，在空旷，野兽吼叫之荒地遇见他，就环绕他，看顾他，保护他，如同保护眼中的瞳人。

自从你出埃及地以来，我就是耶和华—你的神；除了我神以外，你不认识别的，在我以外，并没有救主。

于是你的心高傲，忘记耶和华—你的神。他曾将你从埃及地为奴之家领出来，曾引领你经过那大而可怕的旷野，有火蛇、蝎子、干旱无水之地。他也曾为你使水从坚硬的磐石中流出来，又在旷野将你列祖所不认识的吗哪赐给你吃，为要磨炼你，考验你，终久使你享福。

那时，他的百姓想起古时摩西的日子：“那将百姓和牧养群羊的人从海里领上来的在哪里呢？那将圣灵降在他们中间，以荣耀的膀臂在摩西右边行动，在百姓面前将水分开，为要建立自己永远的名，又带领他们经过深处的在哪里呢？”他们如马行走旷野，不致绊跌；

基甸对他说：“主啊，请容许我说，耶和华若与我们同在，我们怎么会遭遇这一切事呢？我们的列祖告诉我们：‘耶和华领我们从埃及上来’，他那奇妙的作为在哪里呢？现在耶和华却丢弃了我们，把我们交在米甸人的手掌中。”

那坐在黑暗里的百姓看见了大光；坐在死荫之地的人有光照耀他们。”

后来耶和华藉先知领以色列从埃及上来，也藉先知看顾他们。

我追想古时之日，上古之年。

耶和华吩咐摩西说：“你吩咐以色列人转回，要在比‧哈希录前面，密夺和海的中间，巴力‧洗分的前面安营。你们要在对面，靠近海边安营。以色列人这样做，法老必说：‘他们在此地迷了路，旷野把他们困住了。’我要任凭法老的心刚硬，他要追赶他们。我必在法老和他全军身上得荣耀，埃及人就知道我是耶和华。”于是以色列人照样做了。有人报告埃及王说：“百姓逃跑了！”法老和他的臣仆对百姓改变了心意，说：“我们放以色列人走，不再服事我们，我们怎么会做这种事呢？”法老就预备战车，带领他的军兵同去，他带了六百辆特选的战车和埃及所有的战车，每辆都有军官。耶和华任凭埃及王法老的心刚硬，他就追赶以色列人；以色列人却抬起头来出去了。埃及人追赶他们，法老一切的马匹、战车、战车长，与军兵就在海边上，靠近比‧哈希录，在巴力‧洗分的前面，在他们安营的地方追上了。法老逼近的时候，以色列人举目，看哪，埃及人追来了，就非常惧怕，以色列人向耶和华哀求。他们对摩西说：“难道埃及没有坟地，你要把我们带来死在旷野吗？你为什么这样待我们，将我们从埃及领出来呢？我们在埃及岂没有对你说过，不要搅扰我们，让我们服事埃及人吗？因为服事埃及人总比死在旷野好。”摩西对百姓说：“不要怕，要站稳，看耶和华今天向你们所要施行的拯救，因为你们今天所看见的埃及人必永远不再看见了。耶和华必为你们争战，你们要安静！”耶和华对摩西说：“你为什么向我哀求呢？你吩咐以色列人往前走。

但无人说：‘造我的神在哪里？他使人夜间歌唱，

无人求告你的名，无人奋力抓住你。你转脸不顾我们，你使我们因罪孽而融化。

愿黑暗和死荫索取那日，愿密云停在其上，愿白天的昏暗恐吓它。

就是在我去而不返，往黑暗和死荫之地以先。那是乌黑之地，犹如幽暗的死荫，毫无秩序；发出的光辉也像幽暗。”

他用以利亚身上掉下来的外衣打水，说：“耶和华—以利亚的神在哪里呢？”打水之后，水也左右分开，以利沙就过去了。

“你去向耶路撒冷居民的耳朵呼喊，耶和华如此说：‘你年轻时的恩爱，新婚时的爱情，你怎样在旷野，在未耕种之地跟随我，我都记得。

虽然他们说“我对永生的耶和华发誓”，所起的誓实在是假的。

他们在一切苦难当中，他也同受苦难，并且他面前的使者拯救他们。他以慈爱和怜悯救赎他们，在古时的日子时常抱他们，背他们。

祭司从来不问：‘耶和华在哪里呢？’传讲律法的不认识我，官长违背我，先知藉巴力说预言，随从无益的东西。”

我虽然行过死荫的幽谷，也不怕遭害，因为你与我同在；你的杖、你的竿，都安慰我。
