我在斯地、必使猶大人及耶路撒冷人之謀、皆虛而無成、使彼之敵與索其命者、以刃殺戮、使其屍骸、為空中鳥、地上獸所食、

“‘ In this place I will ruin the plans of Judah and Jerusalem. I will make them fall by the sword before their enemies, at the hands of those who want to kill them, and I will give their carcasses as food to the birds and the wild animals.

“‘ “In this place I will make the plans of Judah and Jerusalem as useless as a broken jar. I will use their enemies to kill my people by swords. They will die at the hands of those who want to take their lives. I will give their dead bodies as food to the birds and the wild animals.

And in this place I will make void the plans of Judah and Jerusalem, and will cause their people to fall by the sword before their enemies, and by the hand of those who seek their life. I will give their dead bodies for food to the birds of the air and to the beasts of the earth.

“‘ For I will upset the careful plans of Judah and Jerusalem. I will allow the people to be slaughtered by invading armies, and I will leave their dead bodies as food for the vultures and wild animals.

I will spoil the plans of Judah and Jerusalem in this place. I will make them fall by the sword before their enemies, by the hand of those who intend to take their life. I will provide their corpses as food for the birds of the sky and for the wild animals of the land.

『永恆主必使你在仇敵面前被擊敗；你從一條路出去攻打他們，必由七條路、從他們面前逃跑；你竟要成為地上萬國所引為令人不寒而慄的例子。你的屍體必給空中的飛鳥和地上的野獸做食物，也沒有人給鬨走。

我必以公平為準繩，以公義為線鉈；暴冰雹必將謊言之避難所沖去，大水必漲溢橫流、漫過虛假之隱匿處。』那麼你們跟死亡所立的約就必被解除，你們跟陰間所結的盟就立不住；橫流猛漲的大水經過時，你們就必被蹂躪了。

這人民的屍體必給空中的飛鳥和地上的野獸做食物，也沒有人鬨走。

生產七次的婦人衰萎而氣絕；還在白晝、其日就落；她失望狼狽；餘剩的人我必交與刀劍，就當其敵人面前交出；這是永恆主發神諭說的。』

永恆主破壞列國的計謀，使萬族之民所設計的沒有功效。永恆主的計畫永遠立定，他心中所設計的代代長存。

他們若問你說：「我們要出去到哪裏呢？」你便對他們說：「永恆主這麼說：『那該遭疫癘的，就遭疫癘；該被刀殺的、就被刀殺；該受饑荒的，就受饑荒；該被擄的，就被擄。』」』

我必將他們交在他們的仇敵手中，和那些尋索他們性命的人手中；他們的屍體必給空中的飛鳥和地上的野獸做食物。

他們把你僕人的屍體交與空中的飛鳥做食物，把你堅貞之民的肉交與地上的野獸；他們在耶路撒冷四圍流你人民的血如水，沒有人給埋葬。

謀畫陰謀吧，終必歸於失敗；一言言定吧，終必不能成立；因為上帝與我們同在。

我必將他們交於那些尋索他們性命的人手裏，交於巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒和他臣僕手裏。此後埃及必再有人居住，像昔日一樣；這是永恆主發神諭說的。

假使本着律法的人才是承受產業的，那麼信就落了空，應許也就失效了。

永恆主發神諭說：『有禍啊，這些悖逆的兒女！設下計謀，卻不由於我！奠酒結盟，卻不由於我的靈，以致罪上加罪！他們起身下埃及去，並沒有求問我的許可，就要在法老的保護下去逃難，在埃及的蔭庇下去躲避！故此法老的保護必變為你們的慚愧，躲避於埃及的蔭庇下必成為你們的恥辱。

沒有智慧、沒有明達、沒有謀略能敵得過永恆主。

他破壞狡猾人的計策，使他們的手展不出成功的謀略。他在智慧人自己的狡猾中捉住他們，使邪曲人的計謀迅速地失敗。

故此願你將他們的兒女交於饑荒，將他們交付於刀劍手下；願他們的妻喪失兒子，並做寡婦；願他們的男人被疫癘殺死，他們的壯丁在戰陣上被刀劍擊殺。

他必被埋葬，像驢之被埋葬，被拖拉，被拋擲於耶路撒冷城門之外。』

拋散在日頭、月亮、和天上的萬象之下，就是他們從前所喜愛、所事奉、所隨從、所求問、所敬拜的；這些骸骨必不再被收殮，不再埋葬，就在地面上成為糞土。

這樣，我們是憑着信廢掉律法麼？斷乎不是；我們倒是叫律法立定呢。

交於那些尋索你性命的人的手，和你所懼怕的人手中，交於巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒的手，和迦勒底人手中。

好喫君王的肉、千夫長的肉、壯士的肉、馬和騎馬者的肉、自主的為奴的、小的大的、眾人的肉。』我看見那獸和地上的君王跟他們的眾軍、都聚集了來、要對那騎馬的和他的軍隊作戰。那獸被逮，那假神言人、就是那在獸面前行過神迹、用神迹迷惑了受獸印記和拜獸像的人的、也和獸一同被逮；這兩個活活地丟在那有硫磺燒着的火湖裏。其餘的被騎馬者口中吐出的劍殺了；眾鳥都喫飽了他們的肉。

因為死亡上來，進了我們的窗戶，入了我們的宮堡，要從街上剪除孩童，從廣場上剪掉青年。人的屍體必仆倒像糞土在田野上面，又像收割人所躐下的成行禾捆，無人收取。

除非主命定，誰能說成就成呢？
