“‘ In this place I will ruin the plans of Judah and Jerusalem. I will make them fall by the sword before their enemies, at the hands of those who want to kill them, and I will give their carcasses as food to the birds and the wild animals.

“‘ “In this place I will make the plans of Judah and Jerusalem as useless as a broken jar. I will use their enemies to kill my people by swords. They will die at the hands of those who want to take their lives. I will give their dead bodies as food to the birds and the wild animals.

And in this place I will make void the plans of Judah and Jerusalem, and will cause their people to fall by the sword before their enemies, and by the hand of those who seek their life. I will give their dead bodies for food to the birds of the air and to the beasts of the earth.

“‘ For I will upset the careful plans of Judah and Jerusalem. I will allow the people to be slaughtered by invading armies, and I will leave their dead bodies as food for the vultures and wild animals.

I will spoil the plans of Judah and Jerusalem in this place. I will make them fall by the sword before their enemies, by the hand of those who intend to take their life. I will provide their corpses as food for the birds of the sky and for the wild animals of the land.

我必敵爾、使見擊於敵前、憾爾者將制爾、無人追襲、爾亦遁逃、

皆遘厲疾而死、無人哀哭、不得瘞埋、將於地上、同乎糞土、見滅於鋒刃饑饉、其尸為飛鳥野獸所食、

我將以公為繩、以義為準、欺誑之避所、雹必毀之、虛偽之匿所、水必淹之、爾與死亡所結之約必廢、爾與陰府所訂之盟、必不堅立、凶災流行之時、爾被蹂躪、

空中飛鳥、地上野獸、將食斯民之屍、無人驅之、

生七子之婦、身疲氣斷、尚在白晝、其日沒矣、彼乃含羞抱愧、所遺之民、我將於敵前、付之於刃、耶和華言之矣、○

耶和華敗列邦之謀、廢諸民之志兮、惟耶和華之謀永立、其志歷世弗替兮、

如彼詢爾曰、我當何往、則告之曰、耶和華云、當死者就死、當刃者就刃、當饑者就饑、當虜者就虜、

我必付之於敵、及索其命者之手、其屍必為飛鳥野獸所食、

以爾僕之尸、飼天空之鳥、以聖民之肉、飼地上之獸兮、耶路撒冷四周、血流如水、瘞埋無人兮、

任爾共謀、終歸無成、任爾發言、終必不立、因上帝偕我儕也、

付於索其命者之手、及巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒、與其臣僕之手、厥後埃及必有居民、猶如古昔、耶和華言之矣、○

若由律者為嗣、信則虛、許亦廢矣、

耶和華曰、悖逆之子、設謀不由我意、結約不依我神、致罪加罪、起往埃及、未請示於我口、惟以法老為保障、託埃及之蔭庇、禍哉其人、法老之保障、必為爾之羞辱、埃及之蔭庇、必為爾之愧恥、

智慧明哲謀畧、無有能敵耶和華者、

敗狡者之計、俾其所謀不得成、令智者自中其詭計、使譎者之謀早敗、

故當以其子女付於饑饉、服於鋒刃、使其妻乏嗣為嫠、丁男被戮而亡、少者臨陳、隕於鋒刃、

人必曳之而出、擲於耶路撒冷邑外、瘞之如驢、○

陳於日月天象之下、即其所戀慕、服事順從、尋求崇拜者、無人收而瘞之、將於地上同乎糞土、

然則我儕以信廢律乎、曰、非也、乃堅律耳、

付於索爾命、及爾所畏者之手、即巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒、與迦勒底人之手也、

俾得食君王將帥勇士、及馬與乘之者、或自主為奴、與卑者尊者之肉、○我又見獸及世上諸王、並其軍咸集、欲與乘馬者及其軍戰、獸被執、偽先知亦然、即昔行異蹟於獸前、以惑受獸印誌而拜其像者、二者生投於火湖、以硫焚之、餘皆見殺於乘馬者口出之劍、眾鳥皆飽其肉焉、

蓋死亡至於我牖、入於我宮、我子殄於外、少壯滅於衢、當告之曰、耶和華云、人屍必若糞土、僵於田間、又如禾束、遺於刈者之後、無人拾之、○

非主所命、誰能言之、而即成兮、
