“ This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says:‘ Listen! I am going to bring on this city and all the villages around it every disaster I pronounced against them, because they were stiff- necked and would not listen to my words.’”

“ The Lord who rules over all is the God of Israel. He says,‘ Listen! I am going to punish this city and all the villages around it. I am going to bring against them all the trouble I have announced. That’s because my people were stubborn. They would not listen to what I said.’ ”

“ Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, behold, I am bringing upon this city and upon all its towns all the disaster that I have pronounced against it, because they have stiffened their neck, refusing to hear my words.”

Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, Behold, I will bring upon this city and upon all its towns all the evil that I have pronounced against it; because they have made their neck stiff, that they may not hear my words.

Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring upon this city and upon all her towns all the evil that I have pronounced against it, because they have hardened their necks, that they might not hear my words.

“ The LORD God of Israel who rules over all says,‘ I will soon bring on this city and all the towns surrounding it all the disaster I threatened to do to it. I will do so because they have stubbornly refused to pay any attention to what I have said!’”

“ Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel says,‘ Behold, I will bring on this city and on all its towns all the evil that I have pronounced against it, because they have made their neck stiff, that they may not hear my words.’”

他们拒绝听从，忘记了你为他们所行的奇事，顽固不化，自立首领要回埃及做奴隶。但你是乐意饶恕，有恩典，有怜悯，不轻易发怒，充满慈爱的上帝，你没有离弃他们。

他们却嘲弄耶和华上帝的使者，藐视祂的话，嘲笑祂的先知，以致祂的愤怒临到祂的子民身上，无可挽救。耶和华使迦勒底人的王起兵攻打他们，在他们的圣殿里用刀击杀他们的壮丁，毫不怜悯少男少女、老人和年高者。耶和华把他们全部交在他的手中。

我再三差遣我的仆人——众先知劝你们改邪归正，不要追随、祭拜别的神明，以便你们可以在我赐给你们和你们祖先的土地上安居乐业，你们却充耳不闻，毫不理会。利甲的儿子约拿达的子孙尚且听从他们祖先的吩咐，你们却不听从我的话。因此，以色列的上帝——万军之耶和华说，我要给犹大和耶路撒冷的居民降下我说过的灾祸。因为我对他们说话，他们不听；我呼唤他们，他们不理会。’”

他们却不理会，背过身去，充耳不闻，心如铁石，不遵从律法，也不遵从万军之耶和华借着祂的灵指示从前的先知所说的话。因此，万军之耶和华非常愤怒。祂说，‘我曾呼唤他们，他们不听；将来他们呼求我，我也不听。我要用旋风把他们吹散到陌生的万国中，使他们的土地荒凉、杳无人迹，因为他们使美好的土地一片荒凉。’”

“你们这些顽固不化、耳不听心不悔的人，经常抗拒圣灵，所作所为和你们的祖先如出一辙！哪一位先知没有被你们祖先迫害？那些预言义者——弥赛亚要来的人也被你们的祖先杀害。如今你们竟出卖了那位公义者，杀害了祂！

不，你们心中图谋不义，你们在地上行凶作恶。恶人生下来就步入歧途，一出母胎就离开正道，谎话连篇。他们像喷出毒液的毒蛇，又像耳聋的眼镜蛇，任法师的邪术再高超，也听不见他的咒语。
