耶和華對我說：

耶和華這樣說：“你去跟陶匠買一個瓦瓶，要帶著幾位人民的長老和年長的祭司，

永恆主這麼說：『你去買個窰匠的瓦瓶，帶着民間的長老，和祭司中的長老，

耶和華曰、往購陶人之缾、導祭司及民之長老數人、

耶和華告我曰、當取陶器、招民長、祭司長、咸集。

主如是云、爾購陶人所製之瓦瓶、又召民間長老、與祭司長老數人、

This is what the Lord says:“ Go and buy a clay jar from a potter. Take along some of the elders of the people and of the priests

The Lord said to Jeremiah,“ Go and buy a clay jar from a potter. Take along some of the elders of the people. Also tell some of the priests to go with you.

Thus says the Lord,“ Go, buy a potter’s earthenware flask, and take some of the elders of the people and some of the elders of the priests,

This is what the Lord said to me:“ Go and buy a clay jar. Then ask some of the leaders of the people and of the priests to follow you.

This is what the LORD says:“ Go, buy a potter’s clay jar. Take some of the elders of the people and some of the leading priests

This is what the Lord says:“ Go and buy a potter’s earthenware jar, and take some of the elders of the people and some of the senior priests.

Thus says the Lord:“ Go and get a potter’s earthen flask, and take some of the elders of the people and some of the elders of the priests.

Thus said Jehovah, Go, and buy a potter’s earthen bottle, and take of the elders of the people, and of the elders of the priests;

要被打碎，好像把窑匠的瓦器打碎，毫不顾惜，甚至碎块中找不到一片可用以从炉内取火，从池中舀水。”

“你起来，下到窑匠的家里去，我在那里要使你听我的话。”我就下到窑匠的家里去，正遇他转轮做器皿。窑匠用泥做的器皿，在他手中做坏了，他又用这泥另做别的器皿；窑匠看怎样好，就怎样做。

锡安宝贵的众子好比精金，现在何竟算为窑匠手所做的瓦瓶？

我们有这宝贝放在瓦器里，要显明这莫大的能力是出于神，不是出于我们。

使家宰以利亚敬和书记舍伯那，并祭司中的长老，都披上麻布，去见亚摩斯的儿子先知以赛亚，

那时，祭司长和民间的长老聚集在大祭司称为该亚法的院里。

要将年老的、年少的，并处女、婴孩，和妇女，从圣所起全都杀尽，只是凡有记号的人不要挨近他。”于是他们从殿前的长老杀起。

以利亚撒子孙中为首的比以他玛子孙中为首的更多，分班如下：以利亚撒的子孙中有十六个族长，以他玛的子孙中有八个族长；都掣签分立，彼此一样。在圣所和神面前作首领的有以利亚撒的子孙，也有以他玛的子孙。作书记的利未人拿坦业的儿子示玛雅在王和首领，与祭司撒督、亚比亚他的儿子亚希米勒，并祭司利未人的族长面前记录他们的名字。在以利亚撒的子孙中取一族，在以他玛的子孙中取一族。

到了早晨，众祭司长和民间的长老大家商议要治死耶稣，

祭司长和文士并长老也是这样戏弄他，说：“他救了别人，不能救自己。他是以色列的王，现在可以从十字架上下来，我们就信他。

“你要在同去的人眼前打碎那瓶，对他们说：‘万军之耶和华如此说：我要照样打碎这民和这城，正如人打碎窑匠的瓦器，以致不能再囫囵。并且人要在陀斐特葬埋尸首，甚至无处可葬。

“万军之耶和华以色列的神如此说：要将这封缄的和敞着的两张契放在瓦器里，可以存留多日。

第二天，官府、长老，和文士在耶路撒冷聚会，又有大祭司亚那和该亚法、约翰、亚历山大，并大祭司的亲族都在那里，

国中的长老就有几个人起来，对聚会的众民说：
