生七子之婦、身疲氣斷、尚在白晝、其日沒矣、彼乃含羞抱愧、所遺之民、我將於敵前、付之於刃、耶和華言之矣、○

育七子之婦、喪膽斷氣、其年中絕、若日未暮而沉西、故懷慙抱愧、所遺之民、為敵人誅戮我耶和華已言之矣。

生七子之婦、悲哀慘慘、嗟歎難堪、幾乎絕氣、尚在白晝、其日已入、故懷慚抱愧、所遺之民、我必付於其敵之刃、此乃主所言、○

The mother of seven will grow faint and breathe her last. Her sun will set while it is still day; she will be disgraced and humiliated. I will put the survivors to the sword before their enemies,” declares the Lord.

Mothers who have many children will grow weak. They will take their last breath. The sun will set on them while it is still day. They will be dishonored and put to shame. All those who are left alive I will kill by swords. I will have their enemies do this,” announces the Lord.

She who bore seven has grown feeble; she has fainted away; her sun went down while it was yet day; she has been shamed and disgraced. And the rest of them I will give to the sword before their enemies, declares the Lord.”

“ She languishes who has borne seven; She has breathed her last; Her sun has gone down While it was yet day; She has been ashamed and confounded. And the remnant of them I will deliver to the sword Before their enemies,” says the Lord.

飽足的人作雇工求食；飢餓的人也不再飢餓。不生育的生了七個；兒女多的反倒孤獨。

哪知，喪子、寡居這兩件事一日之間忽然臨到你；你雖多行邪術、廣施魔咒，這兩件事必全然臨到你身上。

唉！先前人口稠密的城市，現在為何獨坐！先前在列國中為大的，現在竟如寡婦！先前在各省中為王后的，現在竟成為服苦役的人！

「到那日，我要使太陽在正午落下，使這地在白晝黑暗。」這是主耶和華說的。「我要使你們的節期變為悲哀，你們一切的歌曲變為哀歌；我要使眾人腰束麻布，頭上光禿；我要使這悲哀如喪獨子，其結局如悲痛的日子。

你的百姓三分之一必遭瘟疫而死，因饑荒在你們中間而消滅；三分之一必在你四圍倒在刀下；我必將三分之一分散四方，要拔刀追趕他們。

他們若問你說：『我們往哪裏去呢？』你就告訴他們，耶和華如此說：『定為死亡的，必致死亡；定為刀殺的，必被刀殺；定為饑荒的，必遭饑荒；定為擄掠的，必被擄掠。』」「我命定四樣災害臨到他們，就是刀劍殺戮、羣狗拖拉、空中的飛鳥和地上的走獸吞吃毀滅。這是耶和華說的。

以後，我要將猶大王西底家和他的臣僕百姓，就是在城內，從瘟疫、刀劍、饑荒中倖存的人，都交在巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒手中，交在仇敵和尋索其命的人手中。巴比倫王必用刀擊殺他們，不顧惜，不同情，不憐憫。這是耶和華說的。』

看哪，我看守他們，為要降禍不降福；在埃及地的猶大人必因刀劍、饑荒而滅亡，直到滅絕。

當我百姓遭毀滅的時候，慈心的婦人親手烹煮自己的兒女為食物。
