我之痛苦、奚久不已、我之創傷、何為不瘳、爾之於我、果如無常之溪、無水之井乎、○

予創傷未痊、殘缺未醫、曷故。爾之待我、若泉之忽竭、使人絕望、曷故。

我之痛楚、恆久不息、我之創傷甚危、不得醫痊何故、主使我失望、若人望得水、而泉源忽竭、

Why is my pain unending and my wound grievous and incurable? You are to me like a deceptive brook, like a spring that fails.

Why does my pain never end? Why is my wound so deep? Why can’t I ever get well? To me you are like a stream that runs dry. You are like a spring that doesn’t have any water.

Why is my pain unceasing, my wound incurable, refusing to be healed? Will you be to me like a deceitful brook, like waters that fail?

Why then does my suffering continue? Why is my wound so incurable? Your help seems as uncertain as a seasonal brook, like a spring that has gone dry.”

Why has my pain become unending, my wound incurable, refusing to be healed? You truly have become like a mirage to me— water that is not reliable.

Why has my pain been endless And my wound incurable, refusing to be healed? Will You indeed be to me like a deceptive stream With water that is unreliable?

Why is my pain perpetual And my wound incurable, Which refuses to be healed? Will You surely be to me like an unreliable stream, As waters that fail?

Why is my pain perpetual, and my wound incurable, which refuseth to be healed? wilt thou indeed be unto me as a deceitful brook, as waters that fail?

你為甚麼因你的損傷哀叫呢？你的病痛無法痊愈。我這樣對你，是因你的罪孽甚多，你的罪惡無數。

因為撒瑪利亞的創傷無法醫治，並且殃及猶大，直逼我子民的城門，就是耶路撒冷。

我雖然有公理，卻被認為是說謊的；我雖然毫無過犯，我所受的箭傷卻無法醫治。’

耶和華啊！你愚弄了我，我受了愚弄；你比我強大，你勝了我。我整天成了別人譏笑的對象，人人都嘲弄我。

“耶和華這樣說：‘你的損傷無法痊愈，你的創傷不能醫治。

他們的顯貴差派童僕去打水；童僕來到池邊，卻找不到水，就拿著空的器皿回來；他們失望難過，蒙著自己的頭。

看哪！今日我使你成為堅城、鐵柱、銅牆，抵擋全地，就是抵擋猶大的君王、首領、祭司和這地的眾民。他們必攻擊你，卻不能勝過你，因為我與你同在，要拯救你。”這是耶和華的宣告。

你真的棄絕猶大嗎？你真的討厭錫安嗎？你為甚麼擊打我們，使我們無法醫治呢？我們期待平安，卻得不到好處；期待得醫治的時候，不料，只有驚慌。

我的心也大大戰慄，耶和華啊！要等到幾時呢？

我的兄弟詭詐像乾涸的溪流，又像流乾的溪水；水流因冰塊融化而混濁，有雪隱藏在其中。天氣一暖溪水就消失，氣候一熱就乾涸。商隊順溪而行，結果偏離原道，走到荒野之地而死亡。提瑪的商隊瞻望溪水，示巴的客旅等候水流。他們失望，因為所盼望的落了空；他們到達那裡就灰心。

我是在耶和華忿怒的杖下受過苦的人。他領我，使我行在黑暗中，不行在光明裡。他真是終日不停地反手攻擊我。他使我的肌膚衰殘，折斷我的骨頭。他築壘圍困我，使毒害和艱難環繞我。他使我住在黑暗之處，好像死了許久的人一樣。他築牆圍住我，使我不能逃出去；他又加重我的鋼鍊。甚至我哀求呼救的時候，他也掩耳不聽我的禱告。他用砍鑿好的石頭堵塞我的道路，他使我的路徑曲折。他像熊埋伏著，又像獅子在藏匿的地方，等候攻擊我。他把我拖離大路，把我撕碎，棄我於荒野。他拉開了他的弓，立我作箭靶子。他把他箭囊中的箭，射進我的肺腑。我成了眾民譏笑的對象，他們終日以我為歌嘲諷我（全句或譯：“我成了眾民的笑柄，他們終日喝頌的諷歌”）。他使我飽嘗苦菜，飽享苦堇。他用沙石使我的牙齒破碎，把我踐踏在灰塵中。你使我失去了平安，我已忘記了福樂是甚麼。所以我說：“我的力量已消失了，我從耶和華所得的盼望也沒有了。”

耶和華啊！你忘記我要到幾時呢？要到永遠嗎？你掩面不顧我，要到幾時呢？我心裡籌算不安，內心終日愁苦，要到幾時呢？我的仇敵勝過我，要到幾時呢？耶和華我的神啊！求你看顧我，應允我；求你使我的眼睛明亮，免得我沉睡至死；
