Thus saith Jehovah, After this manner will I mar the pride of Judah, and the great pride of Jerusalem.

“耶和华如此说：我必照样败坏犹大的骄傲和耶路撒冷的大骄傲。

“耶和华如此说：我要照样败坏犹大的骄傲和耶路撒冷的狂傲。

“耶和华如此说：我要照样败坏犹大的骄傲和耶路撒冷的狂傲。

“这是耶和华说的，‘我也要这样消灭犹大的骄傲和耶路撒冷的狂妄。

“耶和华这样说：‘我必照样败坏犹大的尊荣和耶路撒冷极大的尊荣。

「耶和華如此說：我必照樣敗壞猶大的驕傲和耶路撒冷的大驕傲。

「耶和華如此說：我要照樣敗壞猶大的驕傲和耶路撒冷的狂傲。

「耶和華如此說：我要照樣敗壞猶大的驕傲和耶路撒冷的狂傲。

「這是耶和華說的，『我也要這樣消滅猶大的驕傲和耶路撒冷的狂妄。

“耶和華這樣說：‘我必照樣敗壞猶大的尊榮和耶路撒冷極大的尊榮。

『永恆主這麼說：我必照樣搞壞猶大的驕傲、和耶路撒冷的大驕傲。

耶和華云、我必若是敗猶大之狂傲、及耶路撒冷特甚之狂傲、

猶大及耶路撒冷汰侈已甚、我耶和華將敗之、與此無異。

我即主如是云、猶大及耶路撒冷驕傲已甚、我將敗之、與帶之壞無異、

“ This is what the Lord says:‘ In the same way I will ruin the pride of Judah and the great pride of Jerusalem.

“ In the same way, I will destroy Judah’s pride. And I will destroy the great pride of Jerusalem.

“ Thus says the Lord: Even so will I spoil the pride of Judah and the great pride of Jerusalem.

“ This is what the Lord says: This shows how I will rot away the pride of Judah and Jerusalem.

“ This is what the LORD says: Just like this I will ruin the great pride of both Judah and Jerusalem.

“ This is what the Lord says:‘ To the same extent I will destroy the pride of Judah and the great pride of Jerusalem.

“ Thus says the Lord:‘ In this manner I will ruin the pride of Judah and the great pride of Jerusalem.

“ This is what the Lord says: Just like this I will ruin the great pride of both Judah and Jerusalem.

Thus saith the LORD, After this manner will I mar the pride of Judah, and the great pride of Jerusalem.

“ I, the LORD, say:‘ This shows how I will ruin the highly exalted position in which Judah and Jerusalem take pride.

“ Yahweh says,‘ In this way I, will ruin the pride of Judah, and the great pride of Jerusalem.

And I will break the pride of your power: and I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass;

Hear ye, and give ear; be not proud; for Jehovah hath spoken.Give glory to Jehovah your God, before he cause darkness, and before your feet stumble upon the dark mountains, and, while ye look for light, he turn it into the shadow of death, and make it gross darkness.But if ye will not hear it, my soul shall weep in secret for your pride; and mine eye shall weep sore, and run down with tears, because Jehovah’s flock is taken captive.

Enter into the rock, and hide thee in the dust, from before the terror of Jehovah, and from the glory of his majesty.The lofty looks of man shall be brought low, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and Jehovah alone shall be exalted in that day.For there shall be a day of Jehovah of hosts upon all that is proud and haughty, and upon all that is lifted up; and it shall be brought low;and upon all the cedars of Lebanon, that are high and lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan,and upon all the high mountains, and upon all the hills that are lifted up,and upon every lofty tower, and upon every fortified wall,and upon all the ships of Tarshish, and upon all pleasant imagery.And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be brought low; and Jehovah alone shall be exalted in that day.

Jehovah of hosts hath purposed it, to stain the pride of all glory, to bring into contempt all the honorable of the earth.

In that day shalt thou not be put to shame for all thy doings, wherein thou hast transgressed against me; for then I will take away out of the midst of thee thy proudly exulting ones, and thou shalt no more be haughty in my holy mountain.

We have heard of the pride of Moab, that he is very proud; his loftiness, and his pride, and his arrogancy, and the haughtiness of his heart.

And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good.

Pride goeth before destruction, And a haughty spirit before a fall.

But he giveth more grace. Wherefore the scripture saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace to the humble.

We have heard of the pride of Moab, that he is very proud; even of his arrogancy, and his pride, and his wrath; his boastings are nought.

I say unto you, This man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be humbled; but he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

For Jehovah restoreth the excellency of Jacob, as the excellency of Israel; for the emptiers have emptied them out, and destroyed their vine- branches.

Likewise, ye younger, be subject unto the elder. Yea, all of you gird yourselves with humility, to serve one another: for God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace to the humble.

Our pursuers are upon our necks: We are weary, and have no rest.We have given the hand to the Egyptians, And to the Assyrians, to be satisfied with bread.Our fathers sinned, and are not; And we have borne their iniquities.Servants rule over us: There is none to deliver us out of their hand.

And when the vessel that he made of the clay was marred in the hand of the potter, he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.Then the word of Jehovah came to me, saying,O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith Jehovah. Behold, as the clay in the potter’s hand, so are ye in my hand, O house of Israel.

For thy sister Sodom was not mentioned by thy mouth in the day of thy pride,

Deck thyself now with excellency and dignity; And array thyself with honor and majesty.Pour forth the overflowings of thine anger; And look upon every one that is proud, and abase him.Look on every one that is proud, and bring him low; And tread down the wicked where they stand.
