所以我必用曠野的風吹散他們，像吹過的碎稭一樣。

因此，耶和華說：「我要把你分散到四方，像曠野的風吹散碎稭一樣。

故此我必使你四散如碎稭，像被曠野的風吹過的一樣。

故我必散之、若草芥為野風所飄、

耶和華曰、我必使斯民離散、如狂風飄草芥、爾曹棄我、所恃妄誕、故我罰爾、必若是。

我必將斯民散之、如草芥飄於曠野之風、

“ I will scatter you like chaff driven by the desert wind.

The Lord says,“ I will scatter you like straw that the desert wind blows away.

I will scatter you like chaff driven by the wind from the desert.

“ I will scatter you like chaff that is blown away by the desert winds.

I will scatter you like drifting chaff before the desert wind.

Therefore I will scatter them like drifting straw To the desert wind.

“ Therefore I will scatter them like stubble That passes away by the wind of the wilderness.

Therefore will I scatter them, as the stubble that passeth away, by the wind of the wilderness.

I will scatter you like drifting chaff before the desert wind.

Therefore will I scatter them as the stubble that passeth away by the wind of the wilderness.

“ The LORD says,‘ That is why I will scatter your people like chaff that is blown away by a desert wind.

“ Therefore I will scatter them, as the stubble that passes away, by the wind of the wilderness.

Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away. (niv)

I will scatter you among the nations and will draw out my sword and pursue you. Your land will be laid waste, and your cities will lie in ruins. (niv)

A third of your people will die of the plague or perish by famine inside you; a third will fall by the sword outside your walls; and a third I will scatter to the winds and pursue with drawn sword. (niv)
