Look up and see those who are coming from the north. Where is the flock that was entrusted to you, the sheep of which you boasted?

Jerusalem, look up! Your enemies are coming from the north. Where is the flock you were supposed to take care of? Where are the sheep you were so proud of?

“ Lift up your eyes and see those who come from the north. Where is the flock that was given you, your beautiful flock?

Open up your eyes and see the armies marching down from the north! Where is your flock— your beautiful flock— that he gave you to care for?

耶和华说：“看啊，有一个民族从北方来，有一个强国从地极发动进攻。

我要使凶残、暴虐的迦勒底人兴起。他们要席卷天下，强占别人的家园。

以色列的上帝耶和华这样斥责那些统治祂子民的首领：“你们驱散我的子民，没有照顾他们。看啊，我必因你们的恶行而惩罚你们。这是耶和华说的。

耶和华说：“不错。因为有灾祸要从北方降临到这地方的一切居民。

所以今天我向你们声明，将来你们有谁灭亡，与我无关。因为上帝的整个计划，我没有向你们避而不宣。你们要为自己，也要为教会的群羊警醒，因为圣灵已经任命你们做群羊的监督，牧养上帝的教会。教会是主用自己的血赎回来的。我知道，在我离开以后，一定会有凶恶的豺狼闯进你们中间，残害羊群。

听啊，有消息传来，喧嚣的敌军从北方冲来，要使犹大的城邑荒凉，沦为豺狼的巢穴。

如果你们因为骄傲而不肯听，我会暗自哭泣、泪流满面，因为耶和华的子民将要被掳。

因为我要使一位牧人在地上兴起，他不照顾丧亡的，不寻找失散的，不医治受伤的，不牧养健壮的，反而吃肥羊的肉，撕掉它们的蹄子。“丢弃羊群的无用牧人有祸了！愿刀砍在他的臂膀和右眼上！愿他的臂膀彻底枯槁，他的右眼完全失明！”

田野和林中的走兽啊，来吞吃吧！以色列的守望者瞎眼无知，是不会叫的哑巴狗，只喜欢躺下睡觉做梦。这些人就像贪吃的狗，不知饱足，又像什么都不懂的牧人，人人各行其是，追求自己的利益。他们说：“来吧，我去拿酒，让我们喝个痛快！明天会跟今天一样，甚至更丰盛。”

“‘所以，你们这些牧人啊，要听耶和华的话。主耶和华说，我凭我的永恒起誓，我必惩罚你们。因为我的羊没有牧人，以致沦为所有野兽的食物。我的牧人不去寻找我的羊，他们只喂养自己，不喂养我的羊。你们这些牧人啊，要听耶和华的话。主耶和华说，我要攻击这些牧人，从他们手中讨回我的羊，不再让他们牧放羊群，使他们无法再喂养自己。我要从他们口中夺回我的羊，不再让羊成为他们的食物。

如果是雇工，不是牧人，羊也不是他的，狼一来，他必撇下羊逃命。狼就会抓住羊，把羊群驱散。他逃走，因为他是雇工，并不在乎羊。
