“人子啊！你要面向南方，向南面发言，说预言攻击南地田野的树林，对南地的树林说：‘你要听耶和华的话，主耶和华这样说：看哪！我要在你中间点起火来，吞灭你中间所有青绿和枯干的树；猛烈的火焰必不熄灭；从南到北遍地都要烧焦。

必有人从犹大的各城和耶路撒冷周围的各处，从便雅悯地、低地、山地和南地而来；他们带着燔祭、平安祭、素祭、乳香和感恩祭到耶和华的殿里去。

他们要把地业分作七份，犹大留在南方他们的境界内；约瑟家留在北方他们的境界内。

“但是，如果你不听从耶和华你神的话，不谨守遵行我今日吩咐你的一切诫命和律例，以下这一切咒诅就必临到你身上，把你赶上。

耶和华必使你分散在万民中，从地的这边到地的那边；在那里你要事奉你和你的列祖不认识的别的神，就是木头和石头做的神。在那些国中，你必不得安息，也没有脚掌歇息的地方；耶和华却必使你在那里心中发颤，眼目憔悴，精神颓废。你未来的生命必悬而不定；你必昼夜恐惧，生命难保。因你心里的惧怕惊恐和你眼中看见的景象，早晨你必说：‘但愿现在是晚上！’晚上你必说：‘但愿现在是早晨！’耶和华必用船把你送回埃及去，走我曾经告诉你，你不得再见的那条路；在那里你们必卖身给你的仇敌作奴仆和作婢女，却没有人买。”

因为耶和华这样说：‘看哪！我要使你自己和你所有的朋友都惊惶失措；他们必倒在他们仇敌的刀下，你也必亲眼看见。我要把全犹大交在巴比伦王手中；他要把他们掳到巴比伦去，或用刀击杀他们。

他所拆毁的，就不能重建，他所囚禁的，就不能释放。
