人居斯土、作惡無厭、自謂上帝不加彰癉、故邦國愁慘。土產槁枯、禽獸死亡、伊於何底。

How long will the land lie parched and the grass in every field be withered? Because those who live in it are wicked, the animals and birds have perished. Moreover, the people are saying,“ He will not see what happens to us.”

How long will the land be thirsty for water? How long will the grass in every field be dry? The people who live in the land are evil. So the animals and birds have died. And that’s not all. The people are saying,“ The Lord won’t see what happens to us.”

How long will the land mourn and the grass of every field wither? For the evil of those who dwell in it the beasts and the birds are swept away, because they said,“ He will not see our latter end.”

How long must this land mourn? Even the grass in the fields has withered. The wild animals and birds have disappeared because of the evil in the land. For the people have said,“ The Lord doesn’t see what’s ahead for us!”

How long will the land mourn and the grass of every field wither? Because of the evil of its residents, animals and birds have been swept away, for the people have said,“ He cannot see what our end will be.”

How long is the land to mourn, And the vegetation of the countryside to dry up? Due to the wickedness of those who live in it, Animals and birds have been snatched away, Because people have said,“ He will not see our final end.”

How long will the land mourn, And the herbs of every field wither? The beasts and birds are consumed, For the wickedness of those who dwell there, Because they said,“ He will not see our final end.”

How long shall the land mourn, and the herbs of the whole country wither? for the wickedness of them that dwell therein, the beasts are consumed, and the birds; because they said, He shall not see our latter end.

How long will the land mourn and the grass of every field wither? Because of the evil of its residents, animals and birds have been swept away, for the people have said,“ He cannot see what our end will be.”

我要為眾山哭泣哀號，為曠野的草場唱哀歌；因為都已成為荒涼，無人經過，也聽不到牲畜的叫聲；無論空中的飛鳥，地上的走獸，都逃走跑掉了。

我觀看，毫無人跡；空中的飛鳥也逃掉了。

因此，這地必悲哀，地上所有的居民、田野的走獸、空中的飛鳥都必衰微、枯萎，連海裡的魚也要滅亡。

我們知道被造的萬物直到現在都一同在痛苦呻吟。

因為這地滿了行淫的人；因受咒詛，地就悲哀，曠野的草場都枯乾了；他們走的路是邪惡的，他們的權力誤用了。

他使肥沃的土地變為鹹田，都因住在那裡的居民的邪惡。

因此，主耶和華這樣說：“看哪！我的怒氣和忿怒，必倒在這地方，也必倒在人口、牲畜、田野的樹木和地的出產上；怒火燒起，不能熄滅。”

先知說假預言，祭司憑己意把持權柄。我的子民竟喜愛這樣，到了結局你們怎麼辦呢？”

田野荒廢，土地淒涼，因為五穀毀壞，新酒乾竭，油也缺乏。農夫啊！你們要為大麥和小麥羞愧。修理葡萄園的啊！你們要哀號，因為田間的莊稼都破壞了。葡萄樹枯乾，無花果樹衰殘；石榴樹、棕樹、蘋果樹，田野所有的樹木都枯乾，因此歡樂從人間消失了。祭司啊！你們要腰束麻布，並且痛哭。在祭壇侍候的啊！你們要哀號。事奉我的神的啊！你們披上麻布進去過夜吧，因為素祭和奠祭，都從你們的神的殿中止息了。你們要把禁食的日子分別為聖，召開嚴肅會，聚集眾長老和國中所有的居民，到你們的神耶和華的殿裡，向耶和華呼求。哀哉那日！因為耶和華的日子臨近了；那日來到，好像毀滅從全能者臨到一樣。糧食不是在我們的眼前斷絕了嗎？歡喜與快樂不是從我們的神的殿中止息了嗎？穀種在土塊底下朽爛，倉庫荒涼，穀倉破爛被拆毀，因為五穀都枯乾了。

無花果樹縱不發芽，葡萄樹不結果，橄欖樹無所出，田裡無收成，圈內的羊被剪除，棚裡也沒有牛，

先知不過是一陣風，主的道也不在他們裡面；他們所說的必臨到他們身上。”

你作了這些事，我默不作聲；你以為我和你一樣？其實我要責備你，要當面指控你。

因此，地要悲哀，天必昏暗。因為我說過，就不後悔；我定了意，決不改變。”

“人子啊！主耶和華對以色列地這樣說：‘終局到了！終局臨到這地的四境了！現在終局已經臨到你了。我要發怒攻擊你，按著你的行為審判你，照著你一切可憎的事報應你。我的眼必不顧惜你，我也不憐恤你，我卻要按著你的行為，照著你中間可憎的事報應你，你們就知道我是耶和華。’主耶和華這樣說：‘看哪，災禍，獨特的災禍，臨到了！終局到了，終局臨到了，它已經起來跟你作對。看哪，它臨到了！這地的居民哪，災害臨到你了！時候到了，日子近了，是混亂喧嚷的日子，不是山上歡呼的日子。現在我快要把我的烈怒倒在你身上，向你完全發盡我的怒氣。我要按著你的行為審判你，照著你一切可憎的事報應你。我的眼必不顧惜，我也不憐恤。我卻要按著你的行為，照著你中間可憎的事報應你，你們就知道擊打你們的是我耶和華。“‘看哪，這日子到了！災害已經發出，杖已經開花，狂傲已經發芽。強暴興起，成了懲罰邪惡的杖，他們無一存留，他們的群眾都不在了。他們的財富沒有了，他們中間也沒有尊榮。時候到了，日子近了，買的不必歡喜，賣的不用憂愁；因為烈怒要臨到眾人身上。賣的人雖然還活著，卻不能得回所賣的。因為這個關乎眾人的異象必不更改。因為罪孽的緣故，沒有人能保全自己的性命。

“猶大悲哀，她的城鎮（“城鎮”原文作“城門”）衰落，人人都坐在地上悲傷痛哭；耶路撒冷的哀聲上達於天。
