斯土悲哀、四境草木枯槁、伊於胡底、因其居民行惡、禽獸盡滅、眾猶自謂、我之終局、彼必不及見之、○

人居斯土、作惡無厭、自謂上帝不加彰癉、故邦國愁慘。土產槁枯、禽獸死亡、伊於何底。

斯地哀慘、田野之草枯槁、將至何時、緣斯地居民之惡、走獸飛禽盡滅、彼猶自言曰、我終局若何、彼耶利米必不得見、

How long will the land lie parched and the grass in every field be withered? Because those who live in it are wicked, the animals and birds have perished. Moreover, the people are saying,“ He will not see what happens to us.”

How long will the land be thirsty for water? How long will the grass in every field be dry? The people who live in the land are evil. So the animals and birds have died. And that’s not all. The people are saying,“ The Lord won’t see what happens to us.”

How long will the land mourn and the grass of every field wither? For the evil of those who dwell in it the beasts and the birds are swept away, because they said,“ He will not see our latter end.”

How long must this land mourn? Even the grass in the fields has withered. The wild animals and birds have disappeared because of the evil in the land. For the people have said,“ The Lord doesn’t see what’s ahead for us!”

How long will the land mourn and the grass of every field wither? Because of the evil of its residents, animals and birds have been swept away, for the people have said,“ He cannot see what our end will be.”

How long is the land to mourn, And the vegetation of the countryside to dry up? Due to the wickedness of those who live in it, Animals and birds have been snatched away, Because people have said,“ He will not see our final end.”

How long will the land mourn, And the herbs of every field wither? The beasts and birds are consumed, For the wickedness of those who dwell there, Because they said,“ He will not see our final end.”

How long shall the land mourn, and the herbs of the whole country wither? for the wickedness of them that dwell therein, the beasts are consumed, and the birds; because they said, He shall not see our latter end.

How long will the land mourn and the grass of every field wither? Because of the evil of its residents, animals and birds have been swept away, for the people have said,“ He cannot see what our end will be.”

我要為眾山悲傷痛哭，為曠野的草原唱哀歌，因為那裡一片荒涼，杳無人跡，聽不見牲畜的叫聲，飛鳥和走獸也逃去無蹤。

我四下觀看，只見杳無人煙，飛鳥絕跡。

所以，這片土地要哀鳴，所有的居民都要消亡，田間的野獸、空中的飛鳥、水裡的魚類也要滅絕。」

我們知道一切受造之物至今都在呻吟，如同經歷分娩之痛。

這裡到處是拜偶像的人，他們行為邪惡，濫用權力。大地因受咒詛而悲哀，曠野的草場都枯乾了。

叫沃土變成荒涼的鹽鹼地，因為那裡的居民邪惡。

主耶和華說，『我要向這地方的人、牲畜、田野的樹木和地裡的出產發怒，發烈怒，如無法熄滅的火。』」

就是先知說假預言，祭司濫用權力，我的子民卻以此為樂。但當最後的結局來臨時，他們還能做什麼呢？

田園荒廢，遍地淒涼，五穀盡毀，再也沒有新酒和油了。農夫啊，你們要憂傷！照料葡萄園的人啊，你們要哀號！因為田間的大麥和小麥全毀了。葡萄樹枯死，無花果樹凋殘，石榴樹、棕樹、蘋果樹等田野的一切樹木枯乾。人間的歡樂消逝了。祭司啊，穿著喪服痛哭吧；在祭壇前事奉的人啊，要哀號；我上帝的僕人啊，要披上麻衣過夜；因為再無素祭和奠祭獻到你們上帝的殿中了。你們要定一個禁食的日子，舉行莊嚴的聚會，召集全國的長老和人民，到你們的上帝耶和華的殿中，向耶和華呼求。太可怕了！耶和華的日子近了，那是全能者施行毀滅的日子。我們的糧食斷絕了，我們上帝殿中的歡樂消失了。種子在土裡腐爛，五穀乾死，倉庫荒廢，穀倉被拆毀。

即使無花果樹不發芽，葡萄樹不結果，橄欖樹無收成，田地不產糧，圈裡沒有羊，棚裡沒有牛，

先知的話不過是一陣風，不是來自上帝，他們預言的災禍必降臨到自己身上。』」

我對你的所作所為默然不語，你就以為我與你是同道。現在我要責備你，當面指出你的罪狀。

因此，地要悲哀，天要昏暗，因為我言出必行，決不反悔。」

「人子啊，主耶和華對以色列這樣說，『結局到了，以色列全境的結局到了！以色列，你的結局到了，我的怒氣必傾倒在你身上，我必按你的行為審判你，照你的一切惡行報應你。我必不顧惜你，也不憐憫你，我必按你的惡行報應你。這樣，你必知道我是耶和華。』」主耶和華說：「看啊，災禍來了，一場空前的災禍來了！結局到了，結局到了，你的結局到了！以色列境內的居民啊，惡運降臨了！時候已到，日子已近，山上一片恐慌，歡樂蕩然無存。我快要向你傾倒我的烈怒，發出我的怒氣。我必按你的行為審判你，照你一切的惡行報應你。我必不顧惜你，也不憐憫你，我必按你的惡行報應你。這樣，你就知道懲罰你的是我耶和華。「看啊，看啊，日子到了，大禍臨頭了！杖已經發芽，傲慢已經開花。暴行成了懲罰邪惡的杖，以色列人必沒有一個能夠存留，他們的財富和尊榮必不復存在。時候到了，日子近了，買主不要歡樂，賣主也不要憂愁，因為烈怒臨到了所有的人。即使賣主活著，也無法贖回他所賣的，因為關乎每一個人的異象必然應驗，他們因為犯罪一個也不能保存性命。
