But God made the earth by his power; he founded the world by his wisdom and stretched out the heavens by his understanding.

It is he who made the earth by his power, who established the world by his wisdom, and by his understanding stretched out the heavens.

起初，神创造天地。

他独自铺张苍天，步行在海浪之上。

神坐在地球大圈之上；地上的居民好像蝗虫。他铺张穹苍如幔子，展开诸天如可住的帐棚。

耶和华用能力创造大地，用智慧建立世界，用聪明铺张穹苍。他一发声，空中便有多水激动；他使云雾从地极上腾。他造电随雨而闪，从他府库中带出风来。各人都成了畜类，毫无知识。各银匠都因他的偶像羞愧；他所铸的偶像本是虚假的，其中并无气息，都是虚无的，是迷惑人的工作，到追讨的时候，必被除灭。雅各的份不像这些，因他是造作万有的主；以色列也是他产业的支派。万军之耶和华是他的名。

创造诸天的耶和华，制造成全大地的神，他创造坚定大地，并非使地荒凉，是要给人居住。他如此说：“我是耶和华，再没有别神。

盖造他的圣所，好像高峰，又像他建立永存之地；

耶和华以智慧立地，以聪明定天，

“我立大地根基的时候，你在哪里呢？你若有聪明，只管说吧！你若晓得就说，是谁定地的尺度？是谁把准绳拉在其上？地的根基安置在何处？地的角石是谁安放的？那时，晨星一同歌唱；神的众子也都欢呼。

天上的天和天上的水，你们都要赞美他！愿这些都赞美耶和华的名！因他一吩咐便都造成。

披上亮光，如披外袍，铺张穹苍，如铺幔子，

耶和华论以色列的默示。铺张诸天、建立地基、造人里面之灵的耶和华说：

万物是藉着他造的；凡被造的，没有一样不是藉着他造的。

“主耶和华啊，你曾用大能和伸出来的膀臂创造天地，在你没有难成的事。

我手立了地的根基；我右手铺张诸天；我一招呼便都立住。’

耶和华作王！他以威严为衣穿上；耶和华以能力为衣，以能力束腰，世界就坚定，不得动摇。

称谢那用智慧造天的，因他的慈爱永远长存。称谢那铺地在水以上的，因他的慈爱永远长存。

他把地建立在海上，安定在大水之上。

诸天藉耶和华的命而造；万象藉他口中的气而成。

耶和华啊，你所造的何其多！都是你用智慧造成的；遍地满了你的丰富。

神说：“诸水之间要有空气，将水分为上下。”神就造出空气，将空气以下的水、空气以上的水分开了。事就这样成了。神称空气为天。有晚上，有早晨，是第二日。神说：“天下的水要聚在一处，使旱地露出来。”事就这样成了。

以雅各的神为帮助、仰望耶和华他神的，这人便为有福！耶和华造天、地、海，和其中的万物；他守诚实，直到永远。

创造诸天，铺张穹苍，将地和地所出的一并铺开，赐气息给地上的众人，又赐灵性给行在其上之人的神耶和华，他如此说：

因为万有都是靠他造的，无论是天上的，地上的；能看见的，不能看见的；或是有位的，主治的，执政的，掌权的；一概都是藉着他造的，又是为他造的。

他一发声，空中便有多水激动；他使云雾从地极上腾；他造电随雨而闪，从他府库中带出风来。

你的诚实存到万代；你坚定了地，地就长存。

神将北极铺在空中，将大地悬在虚空；

谁升天又降下来？谁聚风在掌握中？谁包水在衣服里？谁立定地的四极？他名叫什么？他儿子名叫什么？你知道吗？

我造地，又造人在地上。我亲手铺张诸天；天上万象也是我所命定的。

耶和华如此说：“在悦纳的时候，我应允了你；在拯救的日子，我济助了你。我要保护你，使你作众民的中保；复兴遍地，使人承受荒凉之地为业。

从你出胎，造就你的救赎主耶和华如此说：“我耶和华是创造万物的，是独自铺张诸天、铺开大地的。谁与我同在呢？
