When Gideon realized that it was the LORD’s messenger, he said,“ Oh no! Master, LORD! I have seen the LORD’s messenger face to face!”

基甸见他是耶和华的使者，就说：“哀哉！主耶和华啊，我不好了，因为我觌面看见耶和华的使者。”

基甸见他是耶和华的使者，就说：“哎呀！主耶和华啊！因为我真的面对面看见了耶和华的使者。”

基甸见他是耶和华的使者，就说：“哎呀！主耶和华啊！因为我真的面对面看见了耶和华的使者。”

基甸发现他果然是耶和华的天使，便说：“唉！主耶和华啊，不好了，我面对面见了你的天使。”

基甸看出他是耶和华的使者，就说：“哀哉，我主耶和华啊，因为我面对面看见了耶和华的使者。”

基甸見他是耶和華的使者，就說：「哀哉！主耶和華啊，我不好了，因為我覿面看見耶和華的使者。」

基甸見他是耶和華的使者，就說：「哎呀！主耶和華啊！因為我真的面對面看見了耶和華的使者。」

基甸見他是耶和華的使者，就說：「哎呀！主耶和華啊！因為我真的面對面看見了耶和華的使者。」

基甸發現他果然是耶和華的天使，便說：「唉！主耶和華啊，不好了，我面對面見了你的天使。」

基甸看出他是耶和華的使者，就說：“哀哉，我主耶和華啊，因為我面對面看見了耶和華的使者。”

基甸看出他是永恆主的使者；就說：『哀啊！主永恆主啊，我既面對面地看見永恆主的使者，我活不了啦！』

基甸知為耶和華之使者、曰、哀哉、主耶和華歟、我面晤耶和華之使者矣、

其田乃知誠耶和華之使、則曰、我主耶和華歟、我與耶和華使者晤對、將若何。

基甸見為主之使者曰、哀哉我主天主歟、我甚畏懼、因我面見主之使者矣、

When Gideon realized that it was the angel of the Lord, he exclaimed,“ Alas, Sovereign Lord! I have seen the angel of the Lord face to face!”

Gideon realized it was the angel of the Lord. He cried out,“ Oh no, my Lord and King, I have seen the angel of the Lord face to face!”

Then Gideon perceived that he was the angel of the Lord. And Gideon said,“ Alas, O Lord God! For now I have seen the angel of the Lord face to face.”

When Gideon realized that it was the angel of the Lord, he cried out,“ Oh, Sovereign Lord, I’m doomed! I have seen the angel of the Lord face to face!”

When Gideon realized that he was the angel of the LORD, he said,“ Oh no, Lord GOD! I have seen the angel of the LORD face to face!”

When Gideon perceived that he was the angel of the Lord, he said,“ Oh, Lord God! For I have seen the angel of the Lord face to face!”

Now Gideon perceived that He was the Angel of the Lord. So Gideon said,“ Alas, O Lord GOD! For I have seen the Angel of the Lord face to face.”

And Gideon saw that he was the angel of Jehovah; and Gideon said, Alas, O Lord Jehovah! forasmuch as I have seen the angel of Jehovah face to face.

When Gideon realized that He was the Angel of the Lord, he said,“ Oh no, Lord God! I have seen the Angel of the Lord face to face!”

And when Gideon perceived that he[ was] an angel of the LORD, Gideon said, Alas, O Lord GOD! for because I have seen an angel of the LORD face to face.

Gideon saw that he was Yahweh’s angel; and Gideon said,“ Alas, Lord Yahweh! Because I have seen Yahweh’s angel face to face!”

But he added,“ You cannot see my face, for no one can see me and live.”

So Jacob named the place Peniel, explaining,“ Certainly I have seen God face to face and have survived.”

Who is there from the entire human race who has heard the voice of the living God speaking from the middle of the fire as we have, and has lived?

( I was standing between the LORD and you at that time to reveal to you the message of the LORD, because you were afraid of the fire and would not go up the mountain.) He said:

So Hagar named the LORD who spoke to her,“ You are the God who sees me,” for she said,“ Here I have seen one who sees me!”

You said,“ The LORD our God has shown us his great glory and we have heard him speak from the middle of the fire. It is now clear to us that God can speak to human beings and they can keep on living.

I said,“ Too bad for me! I am destroyed, for my lips are contaminated by sin, and I live among people whose lips are contaminated by sin. My eyes have seen the king, the LORD who commands armies.”But then one of the seraphs flew toward me. In his hand was a hot coal he had taken from the altar with tongs.He touched my mouth with it and said,“ Look, this coal has touched your lips. Your evil is removed; your sin is forgiven.”I heard the voice of the sovereign master say,“ Whom will I send? Who will go on our behalf?” I answered,“ Here I am, send me!”

No one has ever seen God. The only one, himself God, who is in closest fellowship with the Father, has made God known.

The LORD’s messenger did not appear again to Manoah and his wife. After all this happened Manoah realized that the visitor had been the LORD’s messenger.Manoah said to his wife,“ We will certainly die, because we have seen a supernatural being!”But his wife said to him,“ If the LORD wanted to kill us, he would not have accepted the burnt offering and the grain offering from us. He would not have shown us all these things, or have spoken to us like this just now.”

Isaiah said these things because he saw Christ’s glory, and spoke about him.
