耶和华啊，愿你的敌人都像西西拉一样灭亡！愿爱你的人如升起的太阳，光辉熠熠！”此后，以色列安享太平四十年。

耶和華歟、願爾諸敵如是滅亡、願愛爾者、如日皎然而出、○其地綏安、歷四十年、

願耶和華諸敵如此危亡、願愛爾者愈顯其榮、如日方升。○嗣是以後其地悉平、歷四十年。

願主之諸敵、如是滅亡、願愛主者如日方昇、光輝烈烈、此後斯地太平、歷四十年、

“ Lord, may all your enemies be destroyed. But may all who love you be like the morning sun. May they be like the sun when it shines the brightest.” So the land was at peace for 40 years.

“ So may all your enemies perish, O Lord! But your friends be like the sun as he rises in his might.” And the land had rest for forty years.

“ Lord, may all your enemies die like Sisera! But may those who love you rise like the sun in all its power!” Then there was peace in the land for forty years.

LORD, may all your enemies perish as Sisera did. But may those who love him be like the rising of the sun in its strength. And the land had peace for forty years.

May all Your enemies perish in this way, Lord; But may those who love Him be like the rising of the sun in its might.” And the land was at rest for forty years.

“ Thus let all Your enemies perish, O Lord! But let those who love Him be like the sun When it comes out in full strength.” So the land had rest for forty years.

So let all thine enemies perish, O Jehovah: But let them that love him be as the sun when he goeth forth in his might. And the land had rest forty years.

he is like the light of morning at sunrise on a cloudless morning, like the brightness after rain that brings grass from the earth.’

Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun.It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, like a champion rejoicing to run his course.

He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun.

But whoever loves God is known by God.

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.

Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy,

Listen, my dear brothers and sisters: Has not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith and to inherit the kingdom he promised those who love him?

Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Whoever has ears, let them hear.

Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.

Let those who love the Lord hate evil, for he guards the lives of his faithful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked.

Do to them as you did to Midian, as you did to Sisera and Jabin at the river Kishon,who perished at Endor and became like dung on the ground.Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna,who said,“ Let us take possession of the pasturelands of God.”Make them like tumbleweed, my God, like chaff before the wind.As fire consumes the forest or a flame sets the mountains ablaze,so pursue them with your tempest and terrify them with your storm.Cover their faces with shame, Lord, so that they will seek your name.May they ever be ashamed and dismayed; may they perish in disgrace.Let them know that you, whose name is the Lord— that you alone are the Most High over all the earth.

Let us acknowledge the Lord; let us press on to acknowledge him. As surely as the sun rises, he will appear; he will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth.”

The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.

but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.

That day Moab was made subject to Israel, and the land had peace for eighty years.

When the kings joined forces, when they advanced together,they saw her and were astounded; they fled in terror.

For surely your enemies, Lord, surely your enemies will perish; all evildoers will be scattered.

The righteous will be glad when they are avenged, when they dip their feet in the blood of the wicked.Then people will say,“ Surely the righteous still are rewarded; surely there is a God who judges the earth.”

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.

May God arise, may his enemies be scattered; may his foes flee before him.May you blow them away like smoke— as wax melts before the fire, may the wicked perish before God.But may the righteous be glad and rejoice before God; may they be happy and joyful.

Zion hears and rejoices and the villages of Judah are glad because of your judgments, Lord.

“ Rejoice over her, you heavens! Rejoice, you people of God! Rejoice, apostles and prophets! For God has judged her with the judgment she imposed on you.”

This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands.In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome,

Grace to all who love our Lord Jesus Christ with an undying love.

for true and just are his judgments. He has condemned the great prostitute who corrupted the earth by her adulteries. He has avenged on her the blood of his servants.”And again they shouted:“ Hallelujah! The smoke from her goes up for ever and ever.”

We love because he first loved us.Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen.And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister.

They called out in a loud voice,“ How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?”
