So the anger of the Lord burned against Israel, and He said,“ Because this nation has violated My covenant which I commanded their fathers, and has not listened to My voice,

於是永恆主向以色列人發怒，說：『這國的人對我的約、我所吩咐他們祖宗守的、既越犯了，不聽我的聲音，

耶和華怒以色列人曰、斯民乃背我命其祖所守之約、不聽我言、

耶和華震怒曰、昔我與以色列族之祖立約、惟彼違逆、不遵我命、

於是主怒以色列人曰、斯民背我與其列祖所立之約、不聽從我言、

Therefore the Lord was very angry with Israel and said,“ Because this nation has violated the covenant I ordained for their ancestors and has not listened to me,

So the Lord became very angry with the Israelites. He said,“ This nation has broken my covenant. I made it with their people of long ago. But this nation has not listened to me.

So the anger of the Lord was kindled against Israel, and he said,“ Because this people have transgressed my covenant that I commanded their fathers and have not obeyed my voice,

So the Lord burned with anger against Israel. He said,“ Because these people have violated my covenant, which I made with their ancestors, and have ignored my commands,

The LORD’s anger burned against Israel, and he declared,“ Because this nation has violated my covenant that I made with their ancestors and disobeyed me,

Then the anger of the Lord was hot against Israel; and He said,“ Because this nation has transgressed My covenant which I commanded their fathers, and has not heeded My voice,

And the anger of Jehovah was kindled against Israel; and he said, Because this nation have transgressed my covenant which I commanded their fathers, and have not hearkened unto my voice;

The Lord’s anger burned against Israel, and He declared,“ Because this nation has violated My covenant that I made with their fathers and disobeyed Me,

And the anger of the LORD was hot against Israel; and he said, Because that this people hath transgressed my covenant which I commanded their fathers, and have not hearkened unto my voice;

The LORD was furious with Israel. He said,“ This nation has violated the terms of the agreement I made with their ancestors by disobeying me.

Yahweh’s anger burned against Israel; and he said,“ Because this nation transgressed my covenant which I commanded their fathers, and has not listened to my voice,

Then the anger of the Lord burned against Israel, and He handed them over to plunderers, and they plundered them; and He sold them into the hands of their enemies around them, so that they could no longer stand against their enemies.

When you violate the covenant of the Lord your God, which He commanded you, and you go and serve other gods and bow down to them, then the anger of the Lord will burn against you, and you will perish quickly from the good land which He has given you.”

not like the covenant which I made with their fathers on the day I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, although I was a husband to them,” declares the Lord.

Then Moses came and reported to the people all the words of the Lord and all the ordinances; and all the people answered with one voice and said,“ All the words which the Lord has spoken we will do!”And Moses wrote down all the words of the Lord. Then he got up early in the morning, and built an altar at the foot of the mountain with twelve memorial stones for the twelve tribes of Israel.And he sent young men of the sons of Israel, and they offered burnt offerings and sacrificed bulls as peace offerings to the Lord.Moses took half of the blood and put it in basins, and the other half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar.Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read it as the people listened; and they said,“ All that the Lord has spoken we will do, and we will be obedient!”So Moses took the blood and sprinkled it on the people, and said,“ Behold the blood of the covenant, which the Lord has made with you in accordance with all these words.”

And the people said to Joshua,“ No, but we will serve the Lord.”So Joshua said to the people,“ You are witnesses against yourselves that you have chosen for yourselves the Lord, to serve Him.” And they said,“ We are witnesses.”“ Now then, do away with the foreign gods which are in your midst, and incline your hearts to the Lord, the God of Israel.”And the people said to Joshua,“ We will serve the Lord our God and obey His voice.”So Joshua made a covenant with the people that day, and made for them a statute and an ordinance in Shechem.

And the anger of the Lord burned against Israel, and He sold them into the hands of the Philistines, and into the hands of the sons of Ammon.

So now leave Me alone, that My anger may burn against them and that I may destroy them; and I will make of you a great nation.”Then Moses pleaded with the Lord his God, and said,“ Lord, why does Your anger burn against Your people whom You have brought out from the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand?

Then the anger of the Lord was kindled against Israel, so that He sold them into the hand of Cushan rishathaim, king of Mesopotamia; and the sons of Israel served Cushan rishathaim for eight years.

For a fire has flared in My anger, And it burns to the lowest part of Sheol, And devours the earth with its yield, And sets on fire the foundations of the mountains.

“ You stand today, all of you, before the Lord your God: your heads, your tribes, your elders and your officers, that is, all the men of Israel,your little ones, your wives, and the stranger who is within your camps, from the one who gathers your firewood to the one who draws your water,so that you may enter into the covenant with the Lord your God, and into His oath which the Lord your God is making with you today,in order that He may establish you today as His people, and that He may be your God, just as He spoke to you and as He swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

“ I will make you pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant;
