In his anger against Israel the Lord gave them into the hands of raiders who plundered them. He sold them into the hands of their enemies all around, whom they were no longer able to resist.

The Lord became angry with the Israelites. So he handed them over to robbers. The robbers stole everything from them. The Lord handed the Israelites over to their enemies all around them. Israel wasn’t able to fight against them anymore and win.

So the anger of the Lord was kindled against Israel, and he gave them over to plunderers, who plundered them. And he sold them into the hand of their surrounding enemies, so that they could no longer withstand their enemies.

This made the Lord burn with anger against Israel, so he handed them over to raiders who stole their possessions. He turned them over to their enemies all around, and they were no longer able to resist them.

The LORD’s anger burned against Israel, and he handed them over to marauders who raided them. He sold them to the enemies around them, and they could no longer resist their enemies.

若不是他們的磐石把他們交付出來，若不是永恆主把他們送交給我們，我們一人怎能追趕他們千人呢？我們兩個人怎能使他們萬人逃跑呢？

永恆主就棄絕以色列的眾後裔，使他們受苦，把他們交在搶掠他們、的人手中，直到將他們丟掉離開自己面前。

沒有人追趕、他們也彼此相撞而跌倒，像在刀劍之前；在仇敵面前、你們也站立不住。

因此以色列人在他們仇敵面前立不住，在仇敵面前轉背逃跑，因為他們成了該被毁滅歸神的。你們若不把該被毁滅歸神之物從你們中間消滅掉，我就不再和你們同在了。你起來，叫人民潔淨自己為聖，對他們說：「你們要潔淨自己為聖，以備明天；因為永恆主以色列的上帝這麼說：以色列啊，你們中間有該被毁滅歸神之物；非等到你們使該被毁滅歸神之物離開你們中間，你們在仇敵面前、就立不住。

當那日子、我必向他們發怒，撇棄他們、掩面不顧他們，以致他們被吞滅，並有許多災禍患難找到他們身上去。當那日子他們必說：「這些災禍找到我們身上來、豈不是因我們的上帝不在我們中間麼？」當那日子、因他們偏向別的神而行的一切壞事、我必定掩面不顧他們。

因此永恆主向他的人民發怒，厭惡了他的產業。把他們交於外國人手裏，恨惡他們的人就管轄他們。他們的仇敵壓迫他們，他們就在敵人手下被制伏了。

永恆主把他們交付在迦南王耶賓手中；耶賓在夏瑣作王；他的軍長西西拉，住在外國人的夏羅設。

以色列人行了永恆主所看為壞的事，忘了永恆主他們的上帝，去服事眾巴力和亞舍拉神木，因此永恆主向以色列人發怒，就把他們交付於米所波大米王古珊利薩田手中；以色列人服事了古珊利薩田八年。

永恆主向以色列人發怒，就把他們交付在非利士人手中、和亞捫人手中。

亞摩利人把但人擠回山地上，不容他們下到山谷來。

『倘若你不謹慎遵行寫在這書上的這律法之一切話，不敬畏這榮耀而可畏懼的名：「耶和華你的上帝」，

『永恆主必使你在仇敵面前被擊敗；你從一條路出去攻打他們，必由七條路、從他們面前逃跑；你竟要成為地上萬國所引為令人不寒而慄的例子。

就使你們擊敗了那攻擊你們的迦勒底人全軍，其中只剩下一些被刺重傷的人，他們也會各從自己的帳棚裏起來，放火焚燒這城的。」』

我就要發烈怒，行事跟你們作對；我要因你們的罪而懲罰你們七倍。

聽見這咒詛的話，就心裏自己慶幸說：「我雖依着頑強之心而行，要把得澆灌的和乾旱的都掃滅掉，還是可得平安。」但是永恆主必不情願赦免這種人，永恆主的怒氣和妒憤反而要向這種人冒煙，而這書上所寫的這一切咒詛就都要伏在那人身上；永恆主又要將他的名從天下塗抹掉。

如今你看，你們倒起來接替你們的先祖，成了罪人的族類，使永恆主向以色列更加發烈怒！

那時出入的人不得平安；各地居民都遭了大亂，

永恆主這麼說：你們母親的離婚書、我用來送她走的證件、在哪裏呢？或是說：哪一個是我的債主，我把你們賣給他呢？看哪，你們被賣、是因你們的罪孽；你們的母親被送走、是因你們的過犯。

但你卻屏棄了我們，屈辱了我們，不在我們的軍隊中去出戰。你使我們從敵人面前轉身退後；恨我們的人遂得任意搶掠。

他們卻直戲笑上帝的使者，藐視上帝的話，直譏誚他的神言人，以致永恆主向他人民發烈怒、到無法救治。

永恆主和猶大同在，猶大就取得了山地；只是不能把山谷的居民趕出，因為他們有鐵車。

『永恆主必在你所作的、你下手辦的一切事上、打發咒詛紛亂挫折臨到你身上，直到你消滅，迅速地滅亡，都因你行為之敗壞、就是你離棄了我的緣故。

你以不值錢之價出賣了你的子民；憑其價值你並不多得利。
