In his anger against Israel the Lord gave them into the hands of raiders who plundered them. He sold them into the hands of their enemies all around, whom they were no longer able to resist.

The Lord became angry with the Israelites. So he handed them over to robbers. The robbers stole everything from them. The Lord handed the Israelites over to their enemies all around them. Israel wasn’t able to fight against them anymore and win.

So the anger of the Lord was kindled against Israel, and he gave them over to plunderers, who plundered them. And he sold them into the hand of their surrounding enemies, so that they could no longer withstand their enemies.

This made the Lord burn with anger against Israel, so he handed them over to raiders who stole their possessions. He turned them over to their enemies all around, and they were no longer able to resist them.

若不是他们的磐石卖掉他们，若不是耶和华抛弃他们，一人怎能赶散他们千人？二人怎能击溃他们万人？

于是，耶和华弃绝了以色列全族，使他们饱尝痛苦，任人宰割，直至把他们从自己眼前赶走。

即使无人追赶，他们也将仓皇逃命，互相绊倒，如同躲避刀剑一样。你们必无力抵挡敌人。

所以，以色列人受咒诅，无法抵挡敌人，掉头败逃。你必须将那些本该毁灭的东西从你们中间除掉，不然我就不再与你们同在。起来吧！去吩咐民众洁净自己，让他们为明天洁净自己，因为以色列的上帝耶和华这样说，‘以色列啊！你们中间有本该毁灭的东西，你们不除掉这些东西就无法抵挡敌人。

那时，我要向他们发怒，离弃他们，掩面不理他们。他们将被吞灭，遭遇许多祸患和灾难，以致他们会说，‘这些祸患临到我们岂不是因为上帝不在我们中间了吗？’那时，我必掩面不理他们，因为他们祭拜别的神明，行为邪恶。

耶和华因此向祂的子民发怒，厌恶他们，使他们落在列邦的手中，受敌人的辖制。他们的敌人压迫他们，奴役他们。

耶和华把他们交在统治夏琐的迦南王耶宾手中。耶宾王的将军叫西西拉，住在夏罗设。

以色列人做耶和华视为恶的事，忘记他们的上帝耶和华，祭拜假神巴力和亚舍拉。耶和华向他们发怒，把他们交在美索不达米亚王古珊·利萨田的手中，受古珊·利萨田统治八年。

亚摩利人强迫但人住在山区，不准他们下到平原。

“如果你们不谨遵这书上所写的一切律法，不敬畏你们的上帝耶和华那荣耀、可畏的名，

“祂要使你们被敌人击败、溃不成军、四散逃命，下场令天下万国惊惧。

即使你们能打败迦勒底全军，他们营中受伤的残兵也必起来烧毁这城。’”

我也要与你们作对，向你们发烈怒，把比先前严厉七倍的惩罚加在你们身上。

免得有人听了这誓言后，心存侥幸地说，‘即使我一意孤行，连累他人，也必平安无事。’耶和华绝不会赦免这样的人，祂必向这样的人发烈怒，使记在这书上的一切咒诅临到他身上，从世上抹去他的名字。

“现在，你们这群罪人的后代竟然重蹈前人的覆辙，加剧耶和华的怒气。

那时，人们出入不得平安，因为各地都有动乱。

耶和华说：“我休你们母亲的休书在哪里呢？我把你们卖给了我哪一个债主呢？你们被卖是因为你们的罪恶，你们母亲被休是因为你们的过犯。

现在你却丢弃我们，让我们受辱，不再帮我们的军队作战。你使我们在仇敌面前败退，遭敌人掳掠。

他们却嘲弄耶和华上帝的使者，藐视祂的话，嘲笑祂的先知，以致祂的愤怒临到祂的子民身上，无可挽救。

耶和华与犹大人同在。他们攻占了山区，却没能赶走平原的居民，因为那里的人有铁战车。

“因为你们背弃耶和华，祂要使你们凡事受咒诅、混乱不堪、饱受责罚，直到你们被毁灭，迅速灭亡。

你把我们廉价卖掉，视我们一文不值。
