“ You are welcome at my house,” the old man said.“ Let me supply whatever you need. Only don’t spend the night in the square.”

“ You are welcome at my house,” the old man said.“ I’d be happy to supply anything you might need. But don’t spend the night in the street.”

And the old man said,“ Peace be to you; I will care for all your wants. Only, do not spend the night in the square.”

“ You are welcome to stay with me,” the old man said.“ I will give you anything you might need. But whatever you do, don’t spend the night in the square.”

“ Welcome!” said the old man.“ I’ll take care of everything you need. Only don’t spend the night in the square.”

Then the old man said,“ Peace to you. Only let me take care of all your needs; however, do not spend the night in the public square.”

And the old man said,“ Peace be with you! However, let all your needs be my responsibility; only do not spend the night in the open square.”

And the old man said, Peace be unto thee; howsoever let all thy wants lie upon me; only lodge not in the street.

“ Peace to you,” said the old man.“ I’ll take care of everything you need. Only don’t spend the night in the square.”

And the old man said, Peace[ be] with thee; howsoever[ let] all thy wants[ lie] upon me; only lodge not in the street.

The old man said,“ Everything is just fine! I will take care of all your needs. But don’t spend the night in the town square.”

The old man said,“ Peace be to you! Just let me supply all your needs, but don’t sleep in the street.”

But the Lord said to him,“ Peace! Do not be afraid. You are not going to die.” (niv)

Your God, the God of your father, has given you treasure in your sacks; I received your silver.” Then he brought Simeon out to them.The steward took the men into Joseph’s house, gave them water to wash their feet and provided fodder for their donkeys. Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food.If one of you says to them,“ Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? (niv)

“ Come, you who are blessed by the Lord,” he said.“ Why are you standing out here? I have prepared the house and a place for the camels.”So the man went to the house, and the camels were unloaded. Straw and fodder were brought for the camels, and water for him and his men to wash their feet.Then food was set before him, but he said,“ I will not eat until I have told you what I have to say.”“ Then tell us,” Laban said. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. (niv)

Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. (niv)

Say to him:‘ Long life to you! Good health to you and your household! And good health to all that is yours! (niv)

Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it. (niv)

Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality. (niv)

“ My lords,” he said,“ please turn aside to your servant’s house. You can wash your feet and spend the night and then go on your way early in the morning.”“ No,” they answered,“ we will spend the night in the square.”But he insisted so strongly that they did go with him and entered his house. “ When you enter a house, first say,‘ Peace to this house.’If someone who promotes peace is there, your peace will rest on them; if not, it will return to you. (niv)

Then the Spirit came on Amasai, chief of the Thirty, and he said:“ We are yours, David! We are with you, son of Jesse! Success, success to you, and success to those who help you, for your God will help you.” So David received them and made them leaders of his raiding bands. (niv)
