So they went up, and searched the land from the wilderness of Zin unto Rehob, as men come to Hamath.

And he said, Thou shalt no more rejoice, O thou oppressed virgin, daughter of Zidon: arise, pass over to Chittim; there also shalt thou have no rest.

Be thou ashamed, O Zidon: for the sea hath spoken,[ even] the strength of the sea, saying, I travail not, nor bring forth children, neither do I nourish up young men,[ nor] bring up virgins.

Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made;[ well]: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who[ is] that God that shall deliver you out of my hands?Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we[ are] not careful to answer thee in this matter.If it be[ so], our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver[ us] out of thine hand, O king.

And the LORD delivered them into the hand of Israel, who smote them, and chased them unto great Zidon, and unto Misrephothmaim, and unto the valley of Mizpeh eastward; and they smote them, until they left them none remaining.

Lest he tear my soul like a lion, rending[ it] in pieces, while[ there is] none to deliver.

Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear[ you] in pieces, and[ there be] none to deliver.

In those days[ there was] no king in Israel: and in those days the tribe of the Danites sought them an inheritance to dwell in; for unto that day[ all their] inheritance had not fallen unto them among the tribes of Israel.

And thy handmaid had two sons, and they two strove together in the field, and[ there was] none to part them, but the one smote the other, and slew him.
