The five men who had spied out the land went inside and took the idol, the ephod and the household gods while the priest and the six hundred armed men stood at the entrance of the gate.

The five men who had looked over the land went inside. They took the statue covered with silver. They also took the family gods and the linen apron. During that time, the priest stood at the entrance of the gate. The 600 men stood there with him. They were prepared for battle.

And the five men who had gone to scout out the land went up and entered and took the carved image, the ephod, the household gods, and the metal image, while the priest stood by the entrance of the gate with the 600 men armed with weapons of war.

the five scouts entered the shrine and removed the carved image, the sacred ephod, the household idols, and the cast idol. Meanwhile, the priest was standing at the gate with the 600 armed warriors.

And the five men that went to spy out the land went up,[ and] came in thither,[ and] took the graven image, and the ephod, and the teraphim, and the molten image: and the priest stood in the entering of the gate with the six hundred men[ that were] appointed with weapons of war.

The five men who had gone to spy out the land broke in and stole the carved image, the ephod, the personal idols, and the metal image, while the priest was standing at the entrance to the gate with the six hundred fully armed men.

从前窥探拉亿地的五个人对他们的弟兄说：“这宅子里有以弗得和家中的神像，并雕刻的像与铸成的像，你们知道吗？现在你们要想一想当怎样行。”

米迦将银子还他母亲，他母亲将二百舍客勒银子交给银匠，雕刻一个像，铸成一个像，安置在米迦的屋内。这米迦有了神堂，又制造以弗得和家中的神像，分派他一个儿子作祭司。

但人从琐拉和以实陶打发本族中的五个勇士，去仔细窥探那地，吩咐他们说：“你们去窥探那地。”他们来到以法莲山地，进了米迦的住宅，就在那里住宿。

当时拉班剪羊毛去了，拉结偷了她父亲家中的神像。

非利士人将祭司和占卜的聚了来，问他们说：“我们向耶和华的约柜应当怎样行？请指示我们用何法将约柜送回原处。”他们说：“若要将以色列神的约柜送回去，不可空空地送去，必要给他献赔罪的礼物，然后你们可得痊愈，并知道他的手为何不离开你们。”非利士人说：“应当用什么献为赔罪的礼物呢？”他们回答说：“当照非利士首领的数目，用五个金痔疮，五个金老鼠，因为在你们众人和你们首领的身上都是一样的灾。所以当制造你们痔疮的像和毁坏你们田地老鼠的像，并要归荣耀给以色列的神，或者他向你们和你们的神，并你们的田地，把手放轻些。你们为何硬着心像埃及人和法老一样呢？神在埃及人中间行奇事，埃及人岂不释放以色列人，他们就去了吗？现在你们应当造一辆新车，将两只未曾负轭有乳的母牛套在车上，使牛犊回家去，离开母牛。把耶和华的约柜放在车上，将所献赔罪的金物装在匣子里，放在柜旁，将柜送去。你们要看看：车若直行以色列的境界到伯示麦去，这大灾就是耶和华降在我们身上的；若不然，便可以知道不是他的手击打我们，是我们偶然遇见的。”

又将他们所铸的牛犊用火焚烧，磨得粉碎，撒在水面上，叫以色列人喝。

我必从你中间除灭雕刻的偶像和柱像，你就不再跪拜自己手所造的。

神的约柜被掳去，以利的两个儿子何弗尼、非尼哈也都被杀了。

他们将神像抬起，扛在肩上，安置在定处，它就站立，不离本位；人呼求它，它不能答应，也不能救人脱离患难。

彼勒屈身，尼波弯腰；巴比伦的偶像驮在兽和牲畜上。他们所抬的如今成了重驮，使牲畜疲乏，都一同弯腰屈身，不能保全重驮，自己倒被掳去。

约阿施回答站着攻击他的众人说：“你们是为巴力争论吗？你们要救他吗？谁为他争论，趁早将谁治死！巴力若果是神，有人拆毁他的坛，让他为自己争论吧！”

将列国的神像都扔在火里；因为它本不是神，乃是人手所造的，是木头石头的，所以灭绝它。耶和华我们的神啊，现在求你救我们脱离亚述王的手，使天下万国都知道惟独你耶和华是神！”
