As he approached Lehi, the Philistines came toward him shouting. The Spirit of the Lord came powerfully upon him. The ropes on his arms became like charred flax, and the bindings dropped from his hands.

Samson approached Lehi. The Philistines came toward him shouting. Then the Spirit of the Lord came powerfully on Samson. The ropes on his arms became like burned thread. They dropped off his hands.

When he came to Lehi, the Philistines came shouting to meet him. Then the Spirit of the Lord rushed upon him, and the ropes that were on his arms became as flax that has caught fire, and his bonds melted off his hands.

As Samson arrived at Lehi, the Philistines came shouting in triumph. But the Spirit of the Lord came powerfully upon Samson, and he snapped the ropes on his arms as if they were burnt strands of flax, and they fell from his wrists.

When he came to Lehi, the Philistines came to meet him shouting. The Spirit of the LORD came powerfully on him, and the ropes that were on his arms and wrists became like burnt flax and fell off.

When he arrived in Lehi, the Philistines shouted as they approached him. But the LORD’s spirit empowered him. The ropes around his arms were like flax dissolving in fire, and they melted away from his hands.

永恆主的靈大大激動參孫，參孫就下到亞實基倫，擊殺了他們中間三十個人，取了所被剝奪的衣裳，將那三十套衣裳，給了那些將謎語的意思說出來的人；參孫發怒，便上他父親家裏去了。

永恆主的靈大大激動了參孫，參孫便將獅子撕裂，像人撕裂山羊羔一樣，赤手空拳，也沒有將他所作的告訴父母。

掃羅聽見這些話，就被上帝的靈大大感動，怒氣大發。

永恆主的靈感動他，他就作士師來拯救以色列；他出去爭戰，永恆主將亞蘭王古珊利薩田交在他手中，他的手就強過古珊利薩田。

有人告訴埃及王說：『以色列民逃走了。』法老和他臣僕對以色列民的心就變了；他們說：『我們讓以色列人走、不再服事我們，我們作了這事甚麼緣故呢？』

我的仇敵啊，你不要因着我而沾沾自喜！我雖然跌倒了，卻要起來；我雖坐在黑暗裏，永恆主卻做我的光。

他教導我的手怎樣爭戰，使我的膀臂能開銅弓。

永恆主的約櫃到了營中，以色列眾人就大聲歡呼，地都發了回聲。

大利拉就用新繩子捆綁他，對他說：『參孫哪，非利士人來拿你來了。』當時有埋伏的人在內室等候着；參孫就從手臂上把繩子掙斷下來，像掙斷粗線一樣。

他們環繞着我，圍困着我；我靠永恆主的名將他們割掉；

他應聲告訴我說：『這是永恆主的話、向所羅巴伯說的：萬軍之永恆主說；不是依靠權勢，不是倚靠能力，乃是倚靠我的靈。

「莫非他們有所得、在分所擄獲的？——莫非每一個男人得了一兩個女子？莫非西西拉得了彩衣為掠物，得了一兩件刺繡彩衣為掠物。要披在我脖子上為掠物呢？」

同時並叫埋伏的人在內室等候着；婦人說：『參孫哪，非利士人來拿你來了。』參孫就掙斷繩子，像麻絲線一近火氣就折斷一樣。這樣，他力氣的根源還是無人知道。

我就出去追牠，擊打牠，將羊羔從牠口中搶救出來。牠起來猛撲我，我便揪着牠的鬍子，擊打牠，將牠殺死。

惡人的歡躍就是短暫，不拜上帝之人的喜樂只是眨眼間麼？

眾民看見參孫，就吶喊頌讚他們的神，說：『我們的神將我們的仇敵、那使我們的地荒廢、又刺死我們許多人的、交在我們手中了。』

是的，我也求你、真的負軛同伴哪，你要協助這兩個婦人歸於一致；因為她們在福音上曾經和我、也同革利免和我其餘的同工、共同競鬥；他們的名字都在生命冊上。

法老就會說到以色列人的事、說：「以色列人在此地繞迷了；曠野把他們困住了。」
