Now the tribes of Joseph attacked Bethel, and the Lord was with them.

耶和華與猶大同在，猶大就佔領了山地；但不能趕走平原的居民，因為他們有鐵車。

耶和華和他同在，他所有的征戰都得到成功。他背叛亞述王，不再臣服他。

約瑟的子孫抽籤所得的地業，是從靠近耶利哥的約旦河起，到耶利哥東邊的水泉，經過從耶利哥上去的曠野，進到在山地的伯特利；又從伯特利到路斯，經過亞基人的境界亞他綠，又向西下到押利提人的境界，去到下伯．和崙和基色的境界，直通到海。約瑟的兒子瑪拿西和以法蓮，也得了他們的產業。

西布倫支派中，一萬二千人；約瑟支派中，一萬二千人；便雅憫支派中，一萬二千人。

靠近瑪拿西支派邊界的還有：伯．善和屬於伯．善的村莊；他納和屬於他納的村莊；米吉多和屬於米吉多的村莊；多珥和屬於多珥的村莊。以色列的兒子約瑟的子孫就住在這些地方。

但他的弓依然堅硬，他的手臂仍舊敏捷，這是出於雅各的大能者之手；出於以色列的牧者，以色列的磐石。

約瑟的子孫中，屬以法蓮支派的，有亞米忽的兒子以利沙瑪；屬瑪拿西支派的，有比大蓿的兒子迦瑪列；

約瑟的兒子，以法蓮子孫的後代，照著他們的宗族、父家，根據人名數目，二十歲及以上，凡是能出去打仗的，都登記了；

因為約瑟的子孫成了兩個支派，就是瑪拿西和以法蓮，因此以色列人沒有把地業分給在那地的利未人，只給他們一些城市居住，還有城市的郊野，可以牧放他們的牲畜，安置他們的財產。
