And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying,“ Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers and sisters has been thrown down, the one who accuses them before our God day and night.And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death.

Furthermore, we had earthly fathers to discipline us, and we respected them; shall we not much more be subject to the Father of spirits, and live?

and subject yourselves to one another in the fear of Christ.

He said,“ Naked I came from my mother’s womb, And naked I shall return there. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away. Blessed be the name of the Lord.”

Now do not stiffen your neck like your fathers, but yield to the Lord and enter His sanctuary which He has consecrated forever, and serve the Lord your God, that His burning anger may turn away from you.

And my majesty and splendor were restored to me for the honor of my kingdom, and my state counselors and my nobles began seeking me out; so I was reestablished in my sovereignty, and surpassing greatness was added to me.Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise, exalt, and honor the King of heaven, for all His works are true and His ways just; and He is able to humble those who walk in pride.”

So the king again sent the captain of a third fifty with his fifty men. When the third captain of fifty went up, he came and bowed down on his knees before Elijah, and begged him and said to him,“ You man of God, please let my life and the lives of these fifty servants of yours be precious in your sight.Behold, fire came down from heaven and consumed the first two captains of fifty with their fifties; but now let my life be precious in your sight.”And the angel of the Lord said to Elijah,“ Go down with him; do not be afraid of him.” So he got up and went down with him to the king.

When I kept silent about my sin, my body wasted away Through my groaning all day long.For day and night Your hand was heavy upon me; My vitality failed as with the dry heat of summer. SelahI acknowledged my sin to You, And I did not hide my guilt; I said,“ I will confess my wrongdoings to the Lord”; And You forgave the guilt of my sin. Selah

Then Job answered the Lord and said,“ Behold, I am insignificant; what can I say in response to You? I put my hand on my mouth.I have spoken once, and I will not reply; Or twice, and I will add nothing more.”

When he was in distress, he appeased the Lord his God and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers.When he prayed to Him, He was moved by him and heard his pleading, and brought him back to Jerusalem to his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord alone is God.

Rebuke the animals in the reeds, The herd of bulls with the calves of the peoples, Trampling the pieces of silver; He has scattered the peoples who delight in war.

but get up and enter the city, and it will be told to you what you must do.”

“ For that reason, King Agrippa, I did not prove disobedient to the heavenly vision,

And the jailer asked for lights and rushed in, and trembling with fear, he fell down before Paul and Silas;and after he brought them out, he said,“ Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”They said,“ Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”

For it is written:“ As I live, says the Lord, to Me every knee will bow, And every tongue will give praise to God.”
