何以爾反辱貧者乎、富者非挾制爾、拘曳爾、以至公庭乎、

爾竟辱貧人、富者非欺壓爾、曳爾至公庭乎、

而爾等竟敢輕慢貧人！夫富人非即以勢凌爾、扭爾以至公庭者乎？

Hear this, you who trample the needy and do away with the poor of the land,saying,“ When will the New Moon be over that we may sell grain, and the Sabbath be ended that we may market wheat?”— skimping on the measure, boosting the price and cheating with dishonest scales,buying the poor with silver and the needy for a pair of sandals, selling even the sweepings with the wheat. At that, the captain went with his officers and brought the apostles. They did not use force, because they feared that the people would stone them.The apostles were brought in and made to appear before the Sanhedrin to be questioned by the high priest. (niv)

The priests and the captain of the temple guard and the Sadducees came up to Peter and John while they were speaking to the people.They were greatly disturbed because the apostles were teaching the people, proclaiming in Jesus the resurrection of the dead.They seized Peter and John and, because it was evening, they put them in jail until the next day.
