你这虚浮的人哪，你愿意知道没有行为的信心是没有用的吗？

愚蠢的人啊，你们不知道没有行为的信心是死的吗？

愚昧的人哪，你愿意知道没有行为的信心是没有用的吗？

唉，你这虚空的人哪！你想知道没有行为的信仰是无用的吗？

虛浮的人哪，你願意知道沒有行為的信心是死的嗎？

你這虛浮的人哪，你願意知道沒有行為的信心是沒有用的嗎？

你這虛浮的人哪，你願意知道沒有行為的信心是沒有用的嗎？

愚蠢的人啊，你們不知道沒有行為的信心是死的嗎？

愚昧的人哪，你願意知道沒有行為的信心是沒有用的嗎？

虛妄的人哪，你願意知道沒有行為的信心是不行的麼？

唉，你這虛空的人哪！你想知道沒有行為的信仰是無用的嗎？

虛誕之人歟、豈不知行外之信乃死乎、

虛誕之人乎、爾當知信而不行、其信歸於無有、

無知者乎、爾欲知無行之信乃死乎、

嗚呼、爾亦淺人也已！爾亦知無行之信、乃為空虛無實乎？

You foolish person, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless?

You foolish person! Do you want proof that faith without good deeds is useless?

How foolish! Can’t you see that faith without good deeds is useless?

Senseless person! Are you willing to learn that faith without works is useless?

But are you willing to acknowledge, you foolish person, that faith without works is useless?

But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?

But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith apart from works is barren?

Foolish man! Are you willing to learn that faith without works is useless?

But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

But would you like evidence, you empty fellow, that faith without works is useless?

But do you want to know, vain man, that faith apart from works is dead?

Whoever works his land will have plenty of bread, but he who follows worthless pursuits lacks sense.

For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened.

For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, so also faith apart from works is dead.

So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

Thus says the Lord:“ What wrong did your fathers find in me that they went far from me, and went after worthlessness, and became worthless?

Certain persons, by swerving from these, have wandered away into vain discussion,

For he knows worthless men; when he sees iniquity, will he not consider it?But a stupid man will get understanding when a wild donkey’s colt is born a man!

For there are many who are insubordinate, empty talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision party.

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only faith working through love.

See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ.

Understand, O dullest of the people! Fools, when will you be wise?He who planted the ear, does he not hear? He who formed the eye, does he not see?He who disciplines the nations, does he not rebuke? He who teaches man knowledge—the Lord— knows the thoughts of man, that they are but a breath.

If anyone thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, this person’s religion is worthless.

For if anyone thinks he is something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself.

But someone will ask,“ How are the dead raised? With what kind of body do they come?”You foolish person! What you sow does not come to life unless it dies.
