民發怨言、耶和華聞其惡語而怒、其火燃於民中、燬營邊隅、民籲摩西、摩西禱於耶和華、火燄隨熄、其地遂稱曰他備拉、以耶和華之火燃於民中也、○

蓋耶和華有復仇之日、為錫安之故、有報施之年、以東諸溪變為瀝青、土壤化為硫磺、其地成為已燃之瀝青、晝夜不熄、恆久煙騰、歷代荒蕪、無人經過、迄於永世、

耶和華必令人聞其威聲、且見其臂力、及忿怒、烈火、暴雨、巨風、冰雹、

蓋此為重罪、士師當罰之惡、亦為火、焚燬至於死域、滅我所有、

列邦如被焚之灰、猶已刈之荊棘、見燬於火、○

蓋陀斐特設自古昔、為王而備、深之廣之、積多薪、蓄以火、耶和華之氣、若硫磺之流而燃之、

主耶和華復示我一事、主耶和華以火施罰、涸其巨淵、將焚土地、

惡人必亡、耶和華之敵、如草場之華美、必將消滅、如煙之散兮、

蓋耶和華以火與刃、罰凡有血氣者、為耶和華所戮者眾、自別自潔之人、入於園囿、而從其中一人、食豕與鼠、及可惡之物、彼必偕亡、耶和華言之矣、

謂南林曰、宜聽耶和華言、主耶和華云、我必燃火於爾、盡焚爾木、或青或枯、其焰不滅、自南及北、灼炙眾面、凡有血氣者、必知斯火為我耶和華所燃、不得撲滅、

蓋我怒如火燎、燒及陰府、焚燬大地、暨其出產、燃彼山基、

我將移北軍遠離爾、驅至旱乾荒蕪之地、前鋒入於東海、後隊入於西海、其臭上升、其腥上騰、以其行大事也、

厥怒奮發、孰能屹立、孰能當其忿怒之烈、其怒傾洩如火、磐巖為之崩裂、

強者如亂麻、所作如火星、相遇必焚、無人撲滅、

儻爾一手陷爾、則斫之、寧殘而入於生、勝有二手入地獄不滅之火、儻爾一足陷爾、則斫之、寧跛而入於生、勝有二足投於地獄不滅之火、儻爾一目陷爾、則去之、寧一目而進上帝國、勝有二目投於地獄、在彼蟲不死、火不滅、蓋凡人必鹽之以火、鹽善矣、若失其鹹、何以調之、爾曹宜自有鹽而相和也、

我不懷怒、任彼荊棘蒺藜、與我為敵、我往擊之、聚而焚之、

若生棘茨則見棄、而近於詛、終見爇矣、○

又謂在左者曰、爾服詛者、去我入永火、乃為魔及其使而備者、

緣此、萬軍之主耶和華、將使肥者為瘠、其貨財之下、如爇火而焚、以色列之光為火、其聖者為焰、一日之間、燬其荊棘蒺藜、爇其茂林腴田之榮華、身心俱滅、勢如病者日漸衰頹、

其痛苦之煙上騰、以至世世、凡拜獸與其像、及受其名之印誌者、晝夜無憩息也、

故彼眾若朝雲、若露立見消散、若禾場之糠、為颶風飄揚、若煙騰於牖外、
