凡邱阜之處、以鋤治之者、因懼荊棘蒺藜、莫之敢往、第為牛牧羊踐之區、

昔有山岡、既修既治、今生荊棘、人不敢往、牛羊踐之。

所有山岡、昔以鋤耕耘者、因荊棘蒺藜阻礙、爾亦不得至、斯地乃為牧牛之處、為羊所踐、

As for all the hills once cultivated by the hoe, you will no longer go there for fear of the briers and thorns; they will become places where cattle are turned loose and where sheep run.

All the hills used to be plowed with hoes. But you won’t go there anymore. That’s because you will be afraid of the thorns and bushes. Cattle will be turned loose on those hills. Sheep will also run there.

And as for all the hills that used to be hoed with a hoe, you will not come there for fear of briers and thorns, but they will become a place where cattle are let loose and where sheep tread.

No one will go to the fertile hillsides where the gardens once grew, for briers and thorns will cover them. Cattle, sheep, and goats will graze there.

You will not go to all the hills that were once tilled with a hoe, for fear of the thorns and briers. Those hills will be places for oxen to graze and for sheep to trample.

As for all the hills which used to be cultivated with the plow, you will not go there for fear of briars and thorns; but they will become a place for pasturing oxen and for sheep to trample.

And to any hill which could be dug with the hoe, You will not go there for fear of briers and thorns; But it will become a range for oxen And a place for sheep to roam.

And all the hills that were digged with the mattock, thou shalt not come thither for fear of briers and thorns; but it shall be for the sending forth of oxen, and for the treading of sheep.

You will not go to all the hills that were once tilled with a hoe, for fear of the thorns and briers. Those hills will be places for oxen to graze and for sheep to trample.

And[ on] all hills that shall be digged with the mattock, there shall not come thither the fear of briers and thorns: but it shall be for the sending forth of oxen, and for the treading of lesser cattle.

They will stay away from all the hills that were cultivated, for fear of the thorns and briers. Cattle will graze there and sheep will trample on them.

All the hills that were cultivated with the hoe, you shall not come there for fear of briers and thorns; but it shall be for the sending out of oxen, and for sheep to tread on.”

沿海的地必成为草场、牧人的洞穴、羊群的圈栏。

到那时，一个人只能养活一头母牛犊和两只母绵羊。因为出的奶多，他就可以吃奶酪；境内剩下的人，都要吃奶酪和蜂蜜。

那地必永远没有居民，世世代代无人居住；阿拉伯人不在那里搭帐幕；牧羊人也不领羊群躺卧在那里。躺卧在那里的，只有旷野的走兽；充满着他们房屋的，只有吼叫着的野兽；鸵鸟住在那里，野山羊在那里跳跃。豺狼必在巴比伦的宫中呼号，野狗必在他们华美的殿里吠叫。巴比伦受罚的时候临近了，它的日子必不长久。

那时羊羔必来吃草，像在自己的草场一样；富裕者的荒场被寄居者随意吃用。

亚罗珥的城市必被撇弃，成为牧放羊群之处，羊群必在那里躺卧，没有人惊扰它们。
