The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said:“ The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah, and he will reign for ever and ever.”And the twenty-four elders, who were seated on their thrones before God, fell on their faces and worshiped God,saying:“ We give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty, the One who is and who was, because you have taken your great power and have begun to reign.The nations were angry, and your wrath has come. The time has come for judging the dead, and for rewarding your servants the prophets and your people who revere your name, both great and small— and for destroying those who destroy the earth.” (niv)

“ Rejoice with Jerusalem and be glad for her, all you who love her; rejoice greatly with her, all you who mourn over her.For you will nurse and be satisfied at her comforting breasts; you will drink deeply and delight in her overflowing abundance.”For this is what the Lord says:“ I will extend peace to her like a river, and the wealth of nations like a flooding stream; you will nurse and be carried on her arm and dandled on her knees.As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you; and you will be comforted over Jerusalem.”When you see this, your heart will rejoice and you will flourish like grass; the hand of the Lord will be made known to his servants, but his fury will be shown to his foes. After this I heard what sounded like the roar of a great multitude in heaven shouting:“ Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God,for true and just are his judgments. He has condemned the great prostitute who corrupted the earth by her adulteries. He has avenged on her the blood of his servants.”And again they shouted:“ Hallelujah! The smoke from her goes up for ever and ever.”The twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God, who was seated on the throne. And they cried:“ Amen, Hallelujah!”Then a voice came from the throne, saying:“ Praise our God, all you his servants, you who fear him, both great and small!”Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting:“ Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns. (niv)

Shout for joy, you heavens; rejoice, you earth; burst into song, you mountains! For the Lord comforts his people and will have compassion on his afflicted ones. (niv)

In that day they will say,“ Surely this is our God; we trusted in him, and he saved us. This is the Lord, we trusted in him; let us rejoice and be glad in his salvation.” (niv)

Sing, Daughter Zion; shout aloud, Israel! Be glad and rejoice with all your heart, Daughter Jerusalem! (niv)

How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion,“ Your God reigns!”Listen! Your watchmen lift up their voices; together they shout for joy. When the Lord returns to Zion, they will see it with their own eyes.Burst into songs of joy together, you ruins of Jerusalem, for the Lord has comforted his people, he has redeemed Jerusalem.The Lord will lay bare his holy arm in the sight of all the nations, and all the ends of the earth will see the salvation of our God. Say among the nations,“ The Lord reigns.” The world is firmly established, it cannot be moved; he will judge the peoples with equity.Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad; let the sea resound, and all that is in it.Let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them; let all the trees of the forest sing for joy.Let all creation rejoice before the Lord, for he comes, he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples in his faithfulness. (niv)

In that day you will say:“ Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done, and proclaim that his name is exalted.Sing to the Lord, for he has done glorious things; let this be known to all the world.Shout aloud and sing for joy, people of Zion, for great is the Holy One of Israel among you.” (niv)

Sing for joy, you heavens, for the Lord has done this; shout aloud, you earth beneath. Burst into song, you mountains, you forests and all your trees, for the Lord has redeemed Jacob, he displays his glory in Israel. (niv)

Rejoice greatly, Daughter Zion! Shout, Daughter Jerusalem! See, your king comes to you, righteous and victorious, lowly and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey. (niv)

Those the Lord has rescued will return. They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away. (niv)
