那使他榮美的膀臂在摩西的右手邊行動、在他們面前將水分開、

倘若約書亞已經使眾民享了安息，上帝後來就不再直講到別的日子了。這樣看來，就有一個安息日式的安息為上帝的子民保留着了。因為進入上帝之安息的人、就歇了他的工而安息了，正如上帝歇了他自己的工一樣。所以我們要竭力進入那安息，免得有人因同一類的不信而倒斃了。

永恆主使以色列人得享平靜、沒有受四圍任何仇敵的騷擾。過了許多年日，約書亞也老邁，上了年紀；

地上有哪一國能比得上你人民以色列呢？有哪一國有神去贖救它、作為自己的子民，而為自己立名，為他們行大而可畏懼的事，又從他人民面前趕逐外國人和他們的神呢？

要使我們這首先寄望於基督的人讓他的榮耀得稱讚。

雖然如此，我指着永活的我來起誓，也指着全地必充滿着永恆主之榮耀來起誓，

『在至高地方、榮耀歸於上帝；地上和平、在他所喜悅的人中間。

使他恩典之榮耀得稱讚；這恩典是他在那蒙愛者裏面所恩賜我們的。

如今永恆主你們的上帝已照他所應許過你們的、把你們的族弟兄安頓好了，如今你們可以回你們家去，到你們自己擁為產業之地那裏，就是永恆主的僕人摩西在約但河東邊所賜給你們的。

利未人耶書亞、甲篾、巴尼、哈沙尼、示利比、荷第雅、示巴尼、毘他希雅說：『你們要站立起來，祝頌永恆主你們的上帝直到永永遠遠。永恆主啊、願你榮耀之名、被尊為至高超乎一切祝頌和稱讚的、永受祝頌。

現在呢、我們的上帝啊，我們稱謝你，頌讚你榮美之名。
