Violence will not be heard again in your land, Nor devastation or destruction within your borders; But you will call your walls salvation, and your gates praise.

“ Pray, then, in this way:‘ Our Father, who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.Your kingdom come. Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven.

Then the seventh angel sounded; and there were loud voices in heaven, saying,“ The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ; and He will reign forever and ever.”

For as the earth produces its sprouts, And as a garden causes the things sown in it to spring up, So the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise To spring up before all the nations.For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, And for Jerusalem’s sake I will not keep quiet, Until her righteousness goes forth like brightness, And her salvation like a torch that is burning.The nations will see your righteousness, And all kings your glory; And you will be called by a new name Which the mouth of the Lord will designate.You will also be a crown of beauty in the hand of the Lord, And a royal headband in the hand of your God.

Now He was telling them a parable to show that at all times they ought to pray and not become discouraged,saying,“ In a certain city there was a judge who did not fear God and did not respect any person.Now there was a widow in that city, and she kept coming to him, saying,‘ Give me justice against my opponent.’For a while he was unwilling; but later he said to himself,‘ Even though I do not fear God nor respect any person,yet because this widow is bothering me, I will give her justice; otherwise by continually coming she will wear me out.’ ”And the Lord said,“ Listen to what the unrighteous judge* said;now, will God not bring about justice for His elect who cry out to Him day and night, and will He delay long for them?I tell you that He will bring about justice for them quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?”

And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil.’
