For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem’s sake I will not remain quiet, till her vindication shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch.

The Lord says,“ For the good of Zion I will not keep silent. For Jerusalem’s benefit I will not remain quiet. I will not keep silent until what I will do for them shines like the sunrise. I will not remain quiet until they are saved and shine like a blazing torch.

For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not be quiet, until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, and her salvation as a burning torch.

Because I love Zion, I will not keep still. Because my heart yearns for Jerusalem, I cannot remain silent. I will not stop praying for her until her righteousness shines like the dawn, and her salvation blazes like a burning torch.

I will not keep silent because of Zion, and I will not keep still because of Jerusalem, until her righteousness shines like a bright light and her salvation, like a flaming torch.

For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, And for Jerusalem’s sake I will not keep quiet, Until her righteousness goes forth like brightness, And her salvation like a torch that is burning.

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. (niv)

till the Spirit is poured on us from on high, and the desert becomes a fertile field, and the fertile field seems like a forest.The Lord’s justice will dwell in the desert, his righteousness live in the fertile field.The fruit of that righteousness will be peace; its effect will be quietness and confidence forever. so that you may become blameless and pure,“ children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like stars in the skyas you hold firmly to the word of life. And then I will be able to boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor in vain. (niv)

May it please you to prosper Zion, to build up the walls of Jerusalem. (niv)

I delight greatly in the Lord; my soul rejoices in my God. As for other matters, brothers and sisters, pray for us that the message of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honored, just as it was with you. (niv)

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:“ May those who love you be secure.May there be peace within your walls and security within your citadels.”For the sake of my family and friends, I will say,“ Peace be within you.”For the sake of the house of the Lord our God, I will seek your prosperity. (niv)

The Lord will inherit Judah as his portion in the holy land and will again choose Jerusalem. (niv)

I will restore your leaders as in days of old, your rulers as at the beginning. Afterward you will be called the City of Righteousness, the Faithful City.”Zion will be delivered with justice, her penitent ones with righteousness. (niv)

Many nations will come and say,“ Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the temple of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths.” The law will go out from Zion, the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. (niv)

My righteousness draws near speedily, my salvation is on the way, and my arm will bring justice to the nations. The islands will look to me and wait in hope for my arm.Lift up your eyes to the heavens, look at the earth beneath; the heavens will vanish like smoke, the earth will wear out like a garment and its inhabitants die like flies. But my salvation will last forever, my righteousness will never fail. (niv)

Awake, awake, arm of the Lord, clothe yourself with strength! Awake, as in days gone by, as in generations of old. Was it not you who cut Rahab to pieces, who pierced that monster through? (niv)
