照樣子，凡是好樹都結好果子，而壞樹卻結惡果子。好樹不能生惡果子，壞樹也不能生好果子。凡不結好果子的樹都被砍下來，丟在火裏。

在我敵人面前你為我擺設筵席；你用油滋潤我的頭；我的杯滿滿、直溢出來。

這些事以後我觀看，見有一大羣人，沒有人能數過來：從各邦國各族派各民族各種語言的人中間出來的；站在寶座和羔羊面前；披着白袍，手裏拿着棕樹枝。他們大聲喊着說：『拯救與得勝屬於坐寶座上的、我們的上帝，也屬於羔羊。』眾天使都站在寶座長老跟四活物的四圍，在寶座前面伏於地、敬拜上帝說：『誠心誠意願祝頌、榮耀、智慧、感謝、尊貴、權能、力量、歸於我們的上帝，世世無窮！阿們。』長老中有一位應聲對我說：『這些披着白袍的是誰啊？是從哪裏來的？』我對他說：『我主，你是知道的；我不知道。』他對我說：『這些人是從那大苦難中出來的；他們曾在羔羊血中把他們的袍子洗到白白。

你的日必不再落，你的月必不虧缺；因為永恆主必做你永遠的光，你悲哀的日子已完了。你的人民都必成為義人，永遠得地以為業，是我種的栽子，我手所作的，使我得榮美的。

義人發旺如棕樹，長高如利巴嫩的香柏樹。移植於永恆主的殿中，他們發旺於我們的上帝的院子裏。他們年老時仍然結果子；滿了汁漿、而長青翠，好宣揚永恆主是正直，是我的磐石：在他毫無不義。

你們若在基督名內受辱罵，是有福的；因為「榮耀」之靈、就是上帝之靈、住在你們身上。

因為你們乃是重價買來的；總要在你們的身體上榮耀上帝。

又說：『要將潔淨的華冠戴在他頭上。』他們就把潔淨的華冠戴在他頭上，又給他穿上華麗的吉服；那時永恆主的使者正在旁邊站着。

有酒使人的心歡喜，使他臉面油潤、煥發光輝，又有食物給人做點心。

末底改穿着藍紫色白色的朝服，戴着大金的冠冕，披着紫紅色細麻布的外袍，從王面前出來；書珊城都發了尖銳聲歡呼快樂。

使你們多結果子、而成為我的門徒；於此我父就得榮耀了。

作為猶大人脫離仇敵、得享平安的日子，作為從愁苦轉為歡樂、從悲哀轉為快樂的假日月份，叫他們以這兩天作為宴飲歡樂的日子，彼此贈送禮物、給窮人送恩物。

父親卻吩咐他的僕人說：「快把上好的袍子拿出來給他穿上，把戒指戴在他指頭上，把鞋穿在他腳上；

末底改知道了人所作的這一切事，就撕裂衣服，穿麻布撒爐灰出去，在城中大聲哀呼，悲苦地哀呼。他來到御門前，就停住腳步；因為穿麻布的不得進御門。王的諭旨和勅令所到的各省各處，猶大人中都大大哀悼，並且禁食、哭泣、舉哀；多數人也拿麻布和爐灰去當床鋪。
