Then all your people will be righteous and they will possess the land forever. They are the shoot I have planted, the work of my hands, for the display of my splendor.

Then all your people will do what is right. The land will belong to them forever. They will be like a young tree I have planted. My hands have created them. They will show how glorious I am.

“ Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.

And he who is left in Zion and remains in Jerusalem will be called holy, everyone who has been recorded for life in Jerusalem,when the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion and cleansed the bloodstains of Jerusalem from its midst by a spirit of judgment and by a spirit of burning.

But according to his promise we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.

And he said to me,“ You are my servant, Israel, in whom I will be glorified.”

so that we who were the first to hope in Christ might be to the praise of his glory.
