Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar.

A seraph flew over to me. He was holding a hot coal. He had used tongs to take it from the altar.

Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a burning coal that he had taken with tongs from the altar.

Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a burning coal he had taken from the altar with a pair of tongs.

Then one of the seraphim flew to me, and in his hand was a glowing coal that he had taken from the altar with tongs.

又有一使者來、立於壇側、執金爐、有以多香予之、俾與諸聖徒之祈禱、同獻於座前之金壇、香煙與聖徒之祈禱、自使者手升於上帝前、使者取爐、滿以壇上之火、傾於地、遂有雷與聲與電及地震、○

且依律則諸物幾皆以血而潔、若無流血、則無赦免、○夫在天諸物之像、須以此而潔、但在天之物、當用愈善之祭潔之、蓋基督非人手造之聖所、似真聖所之形狀者、乃入於天、今於上帝前為我儕而顯焉、亦非屢以己獻、如大祭司歲以非己之血入聖所、若然、則自創世以來必屢受苦矣、但今值季世、乃一顯著、獻己為祭、以除人罪、

主告衣枲衣者曰、爾入基路伯下、旋輪之間、自基路伯間、兩手盈以熾炭、散之於邑、彼則入焉、我目睹之、

取耶和華壇上爇炭、盛之以鼎、又取乳香之屑一掬、攜入㡘內、

我儕有壇、凡奉事於幕者、不得而食、

言及天使、則曰、上帝令其使為風、其役為火燄、

天使非皆服役之神、奉遣以事蒙救者乎、

夫我洗爾以水、俾爾改悔、但後我來者、尤勝於我、即攜其履、我亦弗堪、彼將洗爾以聖神及火焉、

遂見有歧舌如火、止於各人、

撒拉弗侍立其側、各有六翼、以二翼蔽面、二翼覆足、二翼飛翔、

祈禱之際、獻晚祭時、我前於異象中、所見之加百列、疾飛詣我、與我言而誨我曰、但以理歟、今我出而至此、錫爾聰明智慧、爾始祈時、有命出、我則來示爾、蓋爾大蒙眷愛、當思維斯事、而明其異象、
