Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar.

A seraph flew over to me. He was holding a hot coal. He had used tongs to take it from the altar.

Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a burning coal that he had taken with tongs from the altar.

另有一位天使，拿着金香炉来，站在祭坛旁边。有许多香赐给他，要和众圣徒的祈祷一同献在宝座前的金坛上。那香的烟和众圣徒的祈祷从天使的手中一同升到神面前。天使拿着香炉，盛满了坛上的火，倒在地上；随有雷轰、大声、闪电、地震。

按着律法，凡物差不多都是用血洁净的；若不流血，罪就不得赦免了。照着天上样式做的物件必须用这些祭物去洁净；但那天上的本物自然当用更美的祭物去洁净。因为基督并不是进了人手所造的圣所（这不过是真圣所的影像），乃是进了天堂，如今为我们显在神面前；也不是多次将自己献上，像那大祭司每年带着牛羊的血进入圣所，如果这样，他从创世以来，就必多次受苦了。但如今在这末世显现一次，把自己献为祭，好除掉罪。

主对那穿细麻衣的人说：“你进去，在旋转的轮内基路伯以下，从基路伯中间将火炭取满两手，撒在城上。”我就见他进去。

拿香炉，从耶和华面前的坛上盛满火炭，又拿一捧捣细的香料，都带入幔子内，

我们有一祭坛，上面的祭物是那些在帐幕中供职的人不可同吃的。

论到使者，又说：“神以风为使者，以火焰为仆役。”

天使岂不都是服役的灵、奉差遣为那将要承受救恩的人效力吗？

我是用水给你们施洗，叫你们悔改。但那在我以后来的，能力比我更大，我就是给他提鞋也不配。他要用圣灵与火给你们施洗。

又有舌头如火焰显现出来，分开落在他们各人头上。

其上有撒拉弗侍立，各有六个翅膀：用两个翅膀遮脸，两个翅膀遮脚，两个翅膀飞翔；

我正祷告的时候，先前在异象中所见的那位加百列，奉命迅速飞来，约在献晚祭的时候，按手在我身上。他指教我说：“但以理啊，现在我出来要使你有智慧，有聪明。你初恳求的时候，就发出命令，我来告诉你，因你大蒙眷爱；所以你要思想明白这以下的事和异象。
