“愚昧无知的百姓啊，你们有眼不看，有耳不听，现在当听这话。

现在我可以向谁说话作见证，使他们听呢？他们的耳朵未受割礼，不能听见。看哪，耶和华的话他们以为羞辱，不以为喜悦。

光来到世间，世人因自己的行为是恶的，不爱光，倒爱黑暗，定他们的罪就是在此。凡作恶的便恨光，并不来就光，恐怕他的行为受责备。

他们却不肯听从，扭转肩头，塞耳不听，

但耶书仑渐渐肥胖，粗壮，光润，踢跳，奔跑，便离弃造他的神，轻看救他的磐石；

他们的心被脂油包裹；他们用口说骄傲的话。

因为耶和华将沉睡的灵浇灌你们，封闭你们的眼，蒙盖你们的头。你们的眼就是先知；你们的头就是先见。

耶和华啊，你为何使我们走差离开你的道，使我们心里刚硬、不敬畏你呢？求你为你仆人，为你产业支派的缘故，转回来。

但希实本王西宏不容我们从他那里经过；因为耶和华你的神使他心中刚硬，性情顽梗，为要将他交在你手中，像今日一样。

不是往那说话深奥、言语难懂的多国去，他们的话语是你不懂得的。我若差你往他们那里去，他们必听从你。以色列家却不肯听从你，因为他们不肯听从我；原来以色列全家是额坚心硬的人。看哪，我使你的脸硬过他们的脸，使你的额硬过他们的额。我使你的额像金钢钻，比火石更硬。他们虽是悖逆之家，你不要怕他们，也不要因他们的脸色惊惶。”他又对我说：“人子啊，我对你所说的一切话，要心里领会，耳中听闻。你往你本国被掳的子民那里去，他们或听，或不听，你要对他们讲说，告诉他们这是主耶和华说的。”

他们心蒙脂油，我却喜爱你的律法。

我要使埃及人的心刚硬，他们就跟着下去。我要在法老和他的全军、车辆、马兵上得荣耀。

摩西、亚伦在法老面前行了这一切奇事；耶和华使法老的心刚硬，不容以色列人出离他的地。

耶和华必击打埃及，又击打又医治，埃及人就归向耶和华。他必应允他们的祷告，医治他们。

我要使法老的心刚硬，也要在埃及地多行神迹奇事。

但耶和华使法老的心刚硬，不肯容他们去。

在这等人，就作了死的香气叫他死；在那等人，就作了活的香气叫他活。这事谁能当得起呢？

所以，你们当悔改归正，使你们的罪得以涂抹。这样，那安舒的日子就必从主面前来到；
