所以，我们要藉着耶稣，常常把颂赞的祭品献给神，这就是承认他的名的人嘴唇的果子。

这应许原是给你们和你们的儿女，以及所有在远方的人，就是给凡是我们主神召来归他的人。”

也要为我祈求，使我传讲的时候，得着当说的话，可以坦然无惧地讲明福音的奥秘，

也要为我们祷告，求神为我们开传道的门，宣讲基督的奥秘（我就是为了这个缘故被捆锁），使我照着我所应当说的，把这奥秘显明出来。

神藉着耶稣基督（他是万有的主）传和平的福音，把这道传给以色列人。

因为我必赐给你们口才、智慧，是你们所有的敌人不能抵抗，也不能驳倒的。

你们预备好要说的话，归向耶和华，对他说：“除去我们一切罪孽，悦纳我们的祷告。这样我们就把嘴唇的果子献上。

他用炭沾我的口，说：“看哪！这炭沾了你的嘴唇，你的罪孽就除掉，你的罪恶就赦免了。”

“在至高之处，荣耀归与神！在地上，平安归与他所喜悦的人！”

无论进哪一家，先说：‘愿平安归与这家！’那里若有配得平安的人（“配得平安的人”原文作“平安之子”），你们的平安就必临到他，不然，就归给你们。

基督就是我们的和平：他使双方合而为一，拆毁了隔在中间的墙，就是以自己的身体除掉双方的仇恨，并且废掉了律法的规条，使两者在他里面成为一个新人，这样就缔造了和平。基督既然藉着十字架消灭了仇恨，就藉着十字架使双方与神和好，成为一体，并且他来把和平的福音传给你们在远处的人，也给在近处的人。

如果这家是配得的，你们的平安就必临到他们；如果这家不配得，你们的平安仍归你们。

他又对他们说：“你们到全世界去，向所有的人传福音。

因此，我们就是基督的使者，神藉着我们劝告世人。我们代替基督请求你们：跟神和好吧！神使那无罪的替我们成为有罪的，使我们在他里面成为神的义。

耶和华对他说：“谁造人的口呢？谁使人口哑、耳聋、眼明、眼瞎呢？不是我耶和华吗？现在去吧，我必赐你口才，指教你当说的。”
